The [[GreaterScopeVillain Greater Scope Villains]] of all of Sho's mangas, the golems are seemingly invincible threats that have been destroying towns and cities across the world. They are opposed by much of the world, but only Dakini and the Thunder Beasts have been shown to have any sort of effect on them.

* ArchEnemy: Of Dakini and the Thunder Beasts' mother.
* TheDreaded: ''Everyone'' lives in fear of the Sky Golems, since there's nothing they can do but run away.
* {{Golem}}: Obviously, though what they're made of is unknown.
* {{Invisibility}}: The specialty of the Shokera golems.
* LightIsNotGood: A recurring theme among them. In the 'Variant Wizard' lullaby, the Straight Thunders are described as 'pillar[s] of light pregnant with darkness'. This 'darkness' inside the Straight Thunders ruins the soil and seems to induce symptoms such as paralysis if people are too close to the blast.
** The Shokera are feminine insect-like figures with pure white clothing.
* MadeOfIndestructium: All Golem remains stay intact aside from any initial wounds and never breaking any further than that. This is true of even the Mokumokuren heads.
* NotSoInvincibleAfterAll: While remains had been seen of them in previous stories, they had never been seen taking any damage [[spoiler: except when [[Manga/TheJackalope Jacka's horn]] destroyed the Mokumokuren heads in his possession.]] In the first chapter, we now know how those golems were destroyed in the first place.

* ThoseWereOnlyTheirScouts: At first, the Sky Golems are believed to be the only threat to true peace. Then it's revealed that there are many, many more types of golems, all equally impervious to conventional weapons.
* WaveMotionGun: The Straight Thunders.
