* TheChessmaster: It was Menenius who devised the plan to have [[spoiler:Misjia convince the Bozjan Resistance to spend a great deal of its resources recreating the original Gunnhildr's Blades to give the Resistance hope and embolden it to take the fight to Castrum Lacus Litore. He then intended to crush that hope by using the power of Queen Gunnhildr to temper the modern Gunnhildr's Blades and use their skills and the might of their legendary armaments to crush the Resistance. Were it not for the Warrior of Light shielding the remaining Resistance leadership from tempering, she likely would have succeeded.

* ControlFreak: Misjia attempts to use Gunnhildr's power to destroy Bozja upon her defeat in the depths of Delubrum Reginae. She declares that if she can't have Bozja, ''no one will''. Only Gunnhildr's spirit manages to dissuade Misjia and convince her to stand down instead.
-->'''Misjia:''' No...No, we have suffered too long for it to end this way. Bozja is ''ours''. If we cannot have it, no one will!

* DeathEqualsRedemption: Zigzagged; while quite a few of the Resistance leaders forgive Misija for joining with the invading [=IVth=] given her history and mistreatment, despite the horrors she wrought with the Primal Queen Gunnhildir, it's noted that most of the rank-and-file do not.

But it's noted that most of the rank-and-file members of the Resistance do not.

Added DiffLines:

* RoyalWe: Misjia begins using the pronoun "we" to refer to herself after turning herself into a WillingChanneler of Gunnhildr's power. This refers to both her new "royal" status and her working with the spirit of the last Queen Gunnhildr to fight the Bozjan Resistance.

* VillainHasAPoint: His goal is ultimately to [[spoiler:create a new Empire that has shed the more oppressive practices of the current Garlean Empire, promoting equality and meritocracy instead of the current classism and FantasticRacism that's in vogue. He has many powerful individuals under his command who come from a wide variety of backgrounds, proving the sense in his ideals. Balsaljen even admits that he wants to copy some of Noah's ideas for the newly written Bozjan constitution.]]

* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: Once her betrayal comes to light, Baljalsen and Marsak admit that they understand why she did the things she did and [[VillainHasAPoint how her grievances are well-founded]] given her upbringing in the lower caste of Bozja and the fate of her ancestor, the last Queen Gunnhildr. Even so, the atrocities she committed are unconscionable and she's brought in to stand trial for her crimes. The Warrior can also invoke this trope during discussions about what to do with her, as while she may have a troubled past, she is still wholly responsible for her own actions. Thus the Warrior can suggest she be executed.

* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Once she's found out, she and her forces almost exclusively target Bozja's Highborn, aka the ones responsible for perpetuating and supporting Bozja's horrifically dystopian old government. With them out of the way, it will now be ''much'' easier for Bajalsjen to pass his reforms once Bozja is liberated.

Born in the lower class of Bozja's FantasticCasteSystem, Misija grew up resenting the affluent nobles of her homeland. But after it was conquered by the [=IVth=] Legion, Misjia seized an opportunity to learn about her country via the Garlean education system. Her archaeological research led her to discover the original Gunnhildr's Blades' betrayal of her ancestor, the last Queen Gunnhildr, leading her to throw her lot in with Gabranth and the [=IVth Legion=] to upend Bozja's caste system by any means necessary. To this end, she infiltrates the Bozjan Resistance as TheMole to feed information to Gabranth and plot the Resistance's demise.

Added DiffLines:

* ElementalShapeshifter: He turns himself into a flame elemental akin to Liquid Flame periodically during his DuelBoss fight. During this time, his attacks come out much more quickly and cover a wider area. During his LastStand aboard the Dalriada, he will instead become a figure resembling Beq Lugg's familiar, Lugus.

Added DiffLines:

* TimeLimitBoss: Should you take too long to beat him, Sartauvoir will cast "Catastrophe of Fire", an unavoidable instant-kill attack that will destroy you if you can't beat him before he finishes casting.
* ViolationOfCommonSense: His the third phase of his DuelBoss encounter involves the delayed clock explosions from his first phase being casted at the same time as his flaming bird attack. Unlike the first phase, you have to run ''into'' the first explosion so it will knock you above the oncoming bird attacks. Failing to do so will kill you.
