* BecomingTheMask: While disguising as the Protagonist of the team B, she ended up growing closer and closer to Mash to the point that she doesn't want to let her go after kidnapping her as she has always been really lonely.
* HistoricalGenderFlip: She comments on this as she is surprised that the history books write her as being a male, thinking that this is some petty revenge by some bureaucrats just because Emperor Qin had the audacity to hire a woman to fulfill a task. Granted, her clothing does make her look rather boyish, making it easy to mistake her as male.
* ImmortalitySeeker: Her biggest legend is that she was tasked by Qin Shi Huang to find him the key to immortality. While she accepted the request, the reason why she did so was because she herself was searching a way to ''undo'' immortality so it was convenient for her to accept the task.
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: All she really wants is to see Yu happy, which originally just happened to mean finding out a way for her to end her own life if she wanted to. While she is initially obsessed about killing Yu since she, everyone aboard her fleet and their descendants had spend over 2200 years researching this one thing, she is ultimately happy that Yu has found something to be happy about while living.
* LonelyDollGirl: She has been alone for a long time having only a doll resembling Yu Mei-ren with her.
* MaskOfPower: All of her research is accumulated into a mask that has every possible method of murder inscribed into it that can [[ImmortalBreaker kill immortals]]. The incomplete mask was able to almost murder Kiara when she came to investigate the Singularity and could have been able to kill Yu had she died a seventh time to complete the mask.
* OneWingedAngel: Becomes a Massive Ghost after being cornered.
* PeekABangs: Her hair covers her left eye twice over due to how the ribbon wrapped around her head works.
* {{Yandere}}: Subverted. She's obsessively in love with Yu and trying to give her the death she wished for, but she never gets possessive of Yu or commits any atrocities for her sake.

Mineji Sakamoto

The Adult version leader of Lancer Medusa that appears in ''First Order''. She has not appeared in the game, though a child version of Lancer Charlemagne's Twelve Paladins and the traditional Adult Rider have, along with a similarly Evil Gorgon as an Avenger. Like all other servants Astolfo's boss. He, or rather remnants of his emotions, appear in this war aside from Caster Cu, she has been blackened by the corrupted grail.Astolfo's Interlude.

* CanonForeigner: Sort of. This form of Medusa only appeared in the ''First Order'' anime, replacing Lancer Benkei in the game's version of Singularity F.
* ChainPain: Like her Rider version, she utilizes chains for long-ranged attacks.
* CompositeCharacter: Has the class of Medusa "Lily", but has the appearance of her adult Rider version and has Harpe as her Noble Phantasm. She's also straight up evil like Gorgon, though not to that extent.
* DeadlyGaze: Cybele, her Mystic Eyes of Petrification, which will leave you TakenForGranite. She's already left dozens of people, including Matou Shinji, in this state by the time the heroes arrive.
* ExplainingYourPowerToTheEnemy: In the ''First Order'' anime, she warns Mash what Harpe does (any wounds it inflicts [[WoundThatWillNotHeal cannot be healed via supernatural means]], only naturally) before fighting her.
* {{Irony}}: She wields Harpe, the weapon Perseus used to kill her in her original life.
* SinisterScythe: Has Harpe as her weapon of choice and Noble Phantasm. Notably, this is the weapon that killed her in life.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: In the ''First Order'' anime, she assumes that Cú Chulainn is a SquishyWizard like most Casters and all she has to do to beat him is to get in close and not give him time to chant his spells. This leads to her own demise, as even as a Caster, Cú Chulainn is no slouch in melee and his spells are instantaneous and nonverbal, meaning she was too close to dodge them.

The nine fragments of Tamamo-no-Mae's tails. Of the group, only seven have been named and described in detail, including Tamamo Cat (the wild chef), Tamamo-Gucci (who fancies high-class goods), Tamamo-Delmo (who loves decorating her home), Tamamo-Vitch (the capable and beautiful secretary), Tamamo-no-hime (the ideal princess), the deep and mysterious Tamamo-alia, and the self-proclaimed "original" Tamamo-no-Mae, of which the Lancer swimsuit version is a variation - meaning, she's not one of the Tamamo Nine (at least... sort of. Maybe. Question mark.).\\\

To save someone she deeply loved during a Moon Holy Grail War, Tamamo-no-Mae summoned her fellow tails to aid in their rescue. When they started to express an attraction to her Master, she repaid them with an attempted eternal exile to the Far Side of the Moon. Being as crafty and ruthless as her, they soon escaped, and while many no longer carry a torch for Kishinami Hakuno, their grudge towards their Caster kin remained.\\\

Each member is different, but all have a strong dislike of one another and a murderous need to be viewed as the "original" Tamamo. In ''Grand Order'', three of them have appeared to date: the "original" Caster Tamamo, the Berserker Tamamo Cat and Assassin/Alter Ego Daji (aka Tamamo-Vitch).

The nine fragments
of Oda Nobunaga's vassals, known for being Tamamo-no-Mae's tails. Of the second of Japan's Three Great Unifiers after Nobunaga's succession, as well as group, only seven have been named and described in detail, including Tamamo Cat (the wild chef), Tamamo-Gucci (who fancies high-class goods), Tamamo-Delmo (who loves decorating her home), Tamamo-Vitch (the capable and beautiful secretary), Tamamo-no-hime (the ideal princess), the source of several lasting cultural legacies of samurai. He is also deep and mysterious Tamamo-alia, and the husband self-proclaimed "original" Tamamo-no-Mae, of Chacha, Nobunaga's niece.which the Lancer swimsuit version is a variation - meaning, she's not one of the Tamamo Nine (at least... sort of. Maybe. Question mark.).\\\

He made his debut To save someone she deeply loved during a Moon Holy Grail War, Tamamo-no-Mae summoned her fellow tails to aid in their rescue. When they started to express an attraction to her Master, she repaid them with an attempted eternal exile to the ''Fate/GUDAGUDA Order'' promotional comics, though has yet to make a physical appearance in Far Side of the main game despite receiving numerous mentions.Moon.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: He was happy to be Nobunaga's lackey and often amused her with his funny hijinks, leading to him being nicknamed Monkey. Hideyoshi's ability to be generous to his allies and heartless to his enemies led to accusations that he was a calculating sociopath who wore the mask of a kind man in public before taking it off to do the actual ruling in private. A {{Ronin}}[=/=]{{Samurai}} that eventually became [[UsefulNotes/AkechiMitsuhide one of the most notorious vassals of Oda Nobunaga]], since he eventually betrayed Nobunaga and forced the warlord to commit suicide just before the plan of unification by force could come to fruition. Mitsuhide took over Nobunaga's remnants for only 13 days before UsefulNotes/ToyotomiHideyoshi completely defeated him in Yamazaki.\\\

He made his debut in the GUDAGUDA Strange Tales of the Imperial Holy Grail event as the BigBad under the name Major Amami, and returns in GUDAGUDA Final Honnoji as a retainer of Demon King Nobunaga. His designated class is Caster.

* CriticalHitClass: She has two different skills that increase her critical damage with the second skill Night Pool Slider also increasing her own critical star absorption for 1 turn. Her third skill Elegant Summer Sweets generates 15 to 25 crit stars depending on level. Finally, she has a passive skill called Independent Action (Self-Centered) which increases the crit star absorption of her one Quick card by four percent.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Suzuna stating that Shounagon's "a bit Berserker-like" foreshadows the fact that she would ultimately get a Berserker variation of herself.
* HiddenBuxom: Shounagon's normal attire makes it hard to properly measure just how large her chest really is due to what she wears. Now that she has to show her chest, it is really clear that she is actually pretty stacked.
* SituationalSword: Much like her Archer form, her Noble Phantasm gives her three different kinds of Special Attack buffs against Human-attribute enemies, Lawful-aligned Servants and Shadow Servants.
* TookALevelInDumbass: Shounagon was eccentric already in the Archer class, but her acquiring Mad Enhancement has made her not just even more eccentric, but also dumber. She gets offended when Achilles implies that she's dumb, but when Teach asks her what's 1+1, her answer is ''99808''.

to:

* CriticalHitClass: She has two different skills that increase her critical damage with AffectionateNickname: Nobunaga had been referring to him as "Micchi" long before his official appearance, during several of Nobunaga's appearances including the second skill Night Pool Slider also increasing her own critical star absorption for 1 turn. Her third skill Elegant GUDAGUDA Honnoji rerun and "Dead Heat Summer Sweets generates 15 Race" events. She also calls him "Kumquat.", which is actually an inversion: 'Kumquat Head' was one of the insulting nicknames that Mitsuhide received whenever he messed up Nobunaga's orders in history (and theorized as one of the many possible reasons why he initiated the incident at Honnoji). In the game's context, Nobunaga used it on him when she's being less jokey and feeling disappointed.
* AlwaysSecondBest: Judging from his ranting, he was this

* BigShutUp: Shouts this to [[spoiler:Nobunaga in Nobukatsu's body when
she tears into his reasoning for his actions behind the 3rd GUDAGUDA event.]]
* BlobMonster: [[spoiler:His form as the "[[OneWingedAngel Demon King of the Sixth Heaven]]", looking very similar to Neo-Führer in ''Fate/KOHA-ACE''.]]
* CallBack: His Caster class assignment as well as his overall plan and obsession with Nobunaga may make one recall Gilles de Rais during the Orleans Singularity (which resulted in Jeanne d'Arc Alter). The Mud form he takes near the end of ''GUDAGUDA 3'' is taken directly from Neo-Führer in ''Fate/KOHA-ACE''.
* CoolShades: Wears a pair in his cover identity. They're so cool, in fact, it's only when he takes them off that Nobunaga realizes his identity.
* DegradedBoss: [[spoiler:His "Demon King of the Sixth Heaven" form is reused as the Black Giants, monsters used by Makuzu to turn the Singularity he's in into the Pure Lands.]]
* DyingAsYourself: [[spoiler:Noticeably, despite being doused in Grail Mud and transforming into a twisted black monstrosity, the form Mitsuhide dies in is his human one, remembering at last [[{{Forgiveness}} what he truly wanted]] and dying sadly yet peacefully.]]
* EvilLaugh: He is very prone to laugh in this fashion, and fittingly he
has the over-the-top facial expression for this trope.
* FaceHeelTurn: Back in the days, he was
a passive skill trusted officer of Nobunaga, enough to get his own AffectionateNickname "Micchi." Then [[ForegoneConclusion well]], [[spoiler:[[GreenEyedMonster his jealousy of Hideyoshi]] eventually led to]] the Honnoji Incident...
* FatalFlaw: According to Nobunaga, it's his inability to see things through. [[spoiler:Judging from her wording, she was likely aware of his romantic feelings for her, but he never had the courage to act on them and instead stewed in his resentment and (false) belief she was in love with Hideyoshi more until they exploded into the Honnoji Incident. And after that, while Hideyoshi had the willpower to move without her and finish the unification himself, Mitsuhide was paralyzed at the thought of living in a world without her and ran away.]]
-->'''Nobunaga''': You didn't lose to [Hideyoshi]. You lost to your own fears.
* FirstNameBasis: Nobunaga calls him by his given name. Once his True Name is revealed, the dialogue box also refers to him as "Mitsuhide" only. Nagayoshi calls him by his family name.
* {{Foil}}: To Nobukatsu, they are both villains of a [=GudaGuda=] event whose plans revolve around Nobunaga because they deeply love her and who also rebelled against her in life. It's strongly implied that Nobukatsu rebelled knowing that he would lose as it was the only way for the Oda elders to accept his older sister and his plan is to create a peaceful world free from any responsibilities for Nobunaga to live in. In comparison Mitsuhide killed Nobunaga out of jealousy due to feeling that [[spoiler:she liked Hideyoshi]] more than him and intends on creating the "true" Nobunaga who will only be devoted to him.
* GreenEyedMonster: [[spoiler:Towards Hideyoshi, who received Nobunaga's favor more than he could. According to him, it was Hideyoshi who Nobunaga ever smiled at, something he couldn't stand because despite having given "everything" to her he never got the same treatment. This extends even into his more-heroic incarnation in GUDAGUDA Final Honnoji, who is far and away more loyal and sane than his introduction, but starts cackling like a madman and engaging in EvilGloating during the finale about how Hideyoshi can only watch impotently from the throne as Mitsuhide gets things done.]]
* HeelFaceTurn:
** Posthumously, [[spoiler:since he became Nankobou Tenkai, that means he became responsible in concocting a plan to save Kasuga-no-Tsubone and telling Matsudaira Nobutsuna to do it in his stead, thus eventually screwing over Kama's plan. Turns out, getting thoroughly beaten by Hideyoshi in Yamazaki was a good wake-up call for him in life.]]
** He also rejoins the Demon King Nobunaga in the GUDAGUDA Final Honnoji Singularity, and loyally serves her [[spoiler: and eventually Chaldea]] without betrayal, asking only that she [[GreenEyedMonster not mention Hideyoshi]].
* IfICantHaveYou: [[spoiler:His motive for his actions during the Honnoji Incident. Mitsuhide loved Nobunaga, but she favored Hideyoshi more. Therefore, if he couldn't be Nobunaga's NumberTwo, then no one should. Therefore, he betrayed her. called Independent Action (Self-Centered) Demon King Of The Sixth Heaven.]]

which increases is a complete reversal of life where he was the crit star absorption of her one Quick card by four percent.
responsible for Nobu dying in said temple.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Suzuna stating that Shounagon's "a bit Berserker-like" foreshadows KnightOfCerebus: The segment Mitsuhide is heavily featured in has a minimum of the wackiness the GUDAGUDA events are known for. The moment he exits the stage, GUDAGUDA gets wacky again.
* LikeAGodToMe: He viewed Nobunaga this way in life. The {{Irony}} comes from
the fact Nobunaga never viewed herself as such and was in fact against the divine as part of her intentions to push innovation over tradition.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: [[spoiler:After he's fatally wounded by Okita Alter, Mitsuhide is left mourning about how everything he did came to nothing, only to regain a moment of clarity when Okita Alter cuts to the heart of the matter and makes him realize what he truly wanted beneath his grief and madness was not [[IfICantHaveYou his "perfect" Nobunaga]] or even [[IJustWantToBeYou to become Nobunaga]], but simply Nobunaga's {{forgiveness}} for what he did to her.]]
* NotSoAboveItAll: In "Final Honnouji", while he swears that he will never again betray Nobunaga, he does note that if she herself challenges him to try that again he might consider it.
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:After having Nobunaga take back her body and call out his flaws, Mitsuhide uses the grail to transform into a BlobMonster form he calls Demon King Of The Sixth Heaven.]]
* PaperThinDisguise: He appears as a man with CoolShades and refers to himself as "Major Amami" and later "Nankoubou Tenkai". However, the Akechi clan crest is blatantly shown on his outfit, giving away his identity. Not to mention the rumors that Mitsuhide didn't die historically but went into hiding and resurfaced as Tenkai way later during the rise of Tokugawa, which is often used to combine both personages and possibly justify his class designation of Caster. Nobunaga herself doesn't realize it's him until he takes the shades off.
* TheResenter: ''Big time''. Mitsuhide resented Hideyoshi and Nobunaga for many things, the former for [[spoiler:seemingly having Nobunaga's favor over himself]] and the latter for [[spoiler:not appreciating him enough to view him as her true NumberTwo or to fall in love with him despite everything he did for her.]]
* SquareRaceRoundClass: A Sengoku Jidai general as a Caster? It's more likely than you'd think. [[spoiler: This is probably based on legends that he took vows as a monk in shame after killing Nobunaga and became a mystic and court magician under the name Nankobou Tenkai.]]
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler:When he learns that Okita (Alter) is a Counter Force Guardian, he proceeds to rant why over and over, as now he's been rejected not only by Nobunaga, but also the world itself]].
* WhatDoesSheSeeInHim: He could never understand why [[spoiler:Nobunaga favored Hideyoshi over himself, claiming
that she would ultimately get a Berserker variation give Hideyoshi the honor of herself.
* HiddenBuxom: Shounagon's normal attire makes it hard to properly measure just how large
seeing her chest really is due to what she wears. Now smile that she has to show he never did.]]
* WhiteHairBlackHeart: He's white-haired and also the BigBad of the third GUDAGUDA event and his actions were played for drama instead of humor.
* WomanScorned: Gender-inverted. [[spoiler:It's ''very'' obvious from his ranting Mitsuhide was in love with Nobunaga, and he viewed
her chest, it is really favor of Hideyoshi over himself as a very clear betrayal.]]
* {{Yandere}}: His obsession with Nobunaga is what drives him, as he is responsible for the events
that she is actually pretty stacked.

In 1867, James Clerk Maxwell proposed a thought experiment regarding two chambers filled with gas, connected by a door operated by a "demon". The demon would only let fast molecules go through the door, while the slow molecules are left on the other chamber. This would cause one chamber to heat up and the other to cool down, thus violating the second law of thermodynamics, possibly giving a method to achieving perpetual motion. Distorted by people's desires, the demon was able to become a Heroic Spirit.\\\

He first appeared in ''Fate/KOHA-ACE'' as a Caster-class Servant summoned by Führer. He made his debut in GUDAGUDA Final Honnouji event as the initial narrator and [[ArcVillain the High Priest of Makuzu]]'s Servant.

Her third skill's bonus effect Summertime Combat gives her Star Weight Up and an additional passive star generation. Finally her BlobMonster: His Master uses his Noble Phantasm Sea Serpent - Storm Blue's bonus effect to make monsters identical to Mitsuhide's demon form in the previous GUDAGUDA event[[note]]Although, Mitsuhide's demon form is based on Neo-Führer, a flat 20% attack boost for 3 turns.form Maxwell's Demon created first[[/note]]. Since the blob-making machine is PoweredByAForsakenChild, Maxwell recruits the protagonist to destroy the perpetual motion machine he created. The "God of Makuzu" form meanwhile is closest to the demon's "true" form, resembling an even bigger and meaner version of said monsters with a giant red and black ring of mana behind it.
* ClarkesThirdLaw: He explicitly quotes this law at the beginning of GUDAGUDA Final Honnouji, but then notes that the inverse ("Any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology") is also true.
* ForHappiness: When asked point-blank by Kagetora what ''he'' wants, not the lines that his Master tells him to spew, Maxwell answers honestly that he just wants everyone to be happy.
* HisNameReallyIsBarkeep: "Maxwell's Demon" is both his name and title, though he does go by Maxwell too.
* LethalJokeCharacter: His strength as a Servant is reliant on what era he is summoned in. If he is summoned to an era where the thought experiment is solved, he is practically useless. If it isn't solved, though, then he becomes a nigh-immortal Servant with an almost-perfect perpetual motion machine. A short story in ''KOHA-ACE'' shows him winning a Grail War with an unknown Master when he can't even kill a single bug.
* NighInvulnerable: Against Servants from before his thought experiment was solved, he's completely invulnerable to harm, expressing more annoyance and exasperation at Mori's repeated attempts to murder him. Mori gives up less because it would be fruitless and more because Maxwell doesn't even bleed from his strikes.
* OneWingedAngel: Played with. The "God of Makuzu" fits the spirit of the trope heavily, being an even bigger and more threatening version of the previous [[BlobMonster Black Giants]], but it's a separate coexisting being from the humanoid Maxwell and not a transformation. Still, Maxwell's comments and the game itself indicates this is the "true form" of the titular demon, implying they're simply two halves of the same being manifesting separately.
* PerpetualMotionMachine: His Noble Phantasm, Maxwell's Demon: Negation of the Second Law of Thermodynamics, is the infinite heart people have greedily wanted to be real that can generate close to infinite amounts of magical energy. However, it requires an external form of ignition before it can start the perpetual motion, as the theory that disproves the thought experiment is that "to distinguish between momentums, energy is necessary". His Master in the Final Honnouji event chose to do it by using children as infinite mana batteries. His disgust with this is why he chooses to help Chaldea defeat the high priest and destroy the perpetual energy generator.
* SheepInWolfsClothing: Has [[IncrediblyLamePun shady]] design and mannerisms, a villain role in ''Fate/KOHA-ACE'', openly calls himself a Demon and does a sinister monologue to open his debut event, but his only goal is to stop his Master's misuse of his Noble Phantasm.
* SquishyWizard: {{Inverted}}. Rather than a Caster with frightening magical prowess but the defense of a wet paper bag, he's a NighInvulnerable Caster with ''zero'' combat capability himself, entirely reliant on said NighInvulnerability and whatever he can power with his limitless energy to scrape by...at least until he starts summoning the {{Blob Monster}}s.
* SunglassesAtNight: A constant feature, to the point of being compared to other characters such as [[Anime/ZombieLandSaga Tatsumi Kotaro]].

* AffectionateNickname: Nobunaga had been referring to him as "Micchi" long before his official appearance, during several of Nobunaga's appearances including the GUDAGUDA Honnoji rerun and "Dead Heat Summer Race" events.

* AnthropomorphicPersonification: He is a manifestation of the titular "demon" in a thought experiment.
* BlobMonster: His Master uses his Noble Phantasm to make monsters identical to Mitsuhide's demon form in the previous GUDAGUDA event[[note]]Although, Mitsuhide's demon form is based on Neo-Führer, a form Maxwell's Demon created first[[/note]].

* AgeLift: Quite noticeable, especially with Nobunaga's HistoricalBeautyUpdate: there's really only 13-14 years between them historically, yet Katsuie looks like he would pass off as her and Nobukatsu's grandfather.
* AnimeHair: His mane (even in a ponytail) would probably make even [[Anime/DragonBallZ Level 4 Super Saiyans]] jealous.
* BackForTheFinale: Is resummoned by Mitsuhide after his death in the Final Honnoui event.
* BadassBeard: Visible even under his mask; it helps sell how intimidating he is.
* BattleAura: One of his artworks shows him surrounded by black lightning and his katana wreathed in fire.
* BerserkButton: Loses it at the slightest mention of UsefulNotes/ToyotomiHideyoshi--the man who avenged Nobunaga ahead of him and took over everything the Oda owned (i.e. [[AllForNothing that which he fought for all his life]]).
* BreathWeapon: One of his attacks has him noticeably inhaling before unleashing a white beam.
* GatheringSteam: His power grows every time he takes a step. The only thing keeping him from steamrolling everything is how magically-draining constantly increasing your strength actually is. Gameplay-wise, he gains attack, defense, and healing buffs every turn, making it a race against time to take him out before he becomes too strong to beat.
* TheJuggernaut: He walks a slow step at a time, but is virtually unstoppable due to a Skill or NP that causes him to grow stronger with every step he takes. He's only ever stopped by the presence of his lord Nobukatsu and stepdaughter Chacha.
* MadnessMantra: "Charge... Advance...!"
* MalevolentMaskedMan: Wears a full demon-styled ''kabuto''/helmet in his other artworks--much like real-life {{samurai}} tended to wear.
* MyGreatestFailure:
** His UndyingLoyalty is rooted in regret for the time when he fell for Nobukatsu's words and sided with him in his rebellion against his sister. He never forgave himself for feeling unable to trust Nobunaga, even if just momentarily. Nobukatsu tries to guilt trip him over this in order to leave him vulnerable at last for Chaldea to take down.
** His ''other'' regret is failing to defeat Hideyoshi and save Nobunaga's sister and his wife Oichi, who died alongside him, which is why he swears he won't stop even against Nobukatsu. It takes Chacha coming in to tell him he's done the best he could and she nor Oichi ever hated him to finally stop him, now in tears.
* OldRetainer: Served the Oda even before Nobunaga and Nobukatsu were born.
* OneManArmy: When he's sent on "reconnaissance" to the Chaldea-clan's base of operations, Mitsuhide's worries aren't that he's going alone, it's that there won't be anything left to observe if he goes berserk. Sure enough, he plows through the infantry like tissue paper and is barely slowed down by Nagetora or Mori's attacks.
* {{Oni}}: His fighting style (which helps explain his Berserker class) was ferocious enough that he was given the name as his RedBaron. Even his intimidating armor and build invokes the name too.
* PapaWolf: Being the closest thing Chacha had to an elder protector (being Chacha's stepfather), he definitely saw himself as one. The feeling is mutual considering she calls him "Father". His failure to survive for her continues to haunt his Saint Graph.
* SequentialBoss: He is fought multiple times throughout the main quest of "GUDAGUDA Final Honnoji".
* StoutStrength: The man's built like a truck compared to many of the [[{{Bishonen}} pretty-boy]] and [[HistoricalGenderFlip female]] {{samurai}} in-game (and definitely outbulks even the stately Munenori). In-story, he demolishes even your party [[TheBattleDidntCount (even after you defeat him in-game)]].
* TalkingTheMonsterToDeath: Shibata overpowers the party multiple times and is only defeated when Nobukatsu questions the extent of his loyalty and Chacha tells him that he has already done enough and should forgive himself for the one time his loyalty faltered.
* TearsOfJoy: Cries until he runs out of mana after Chacha's speech to him. Briefly does it again after the Singularity is over, expressing his gratitude for this opportunity to see the Oda siblings and his stepdaughter again.
* TransformationSequence: Katsuie's armor evolves throughout his presence during the event--such that they almost count as [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/typemoon/images/b/b8/BerskerShibataKatsuieStage2.png/revision/latest?cb=20190709082438 Second]] and [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/typemoon/images/5/5e/BerskerShibataKatsuieStage3.png/revision/latest?cb=20190707194904 Third]] Ascensions (which helps in continuing anticipation for him to [[PromotedToPlayable become a summonable Servant]]).
* UndyingLoyalty: Katsuie notably only betrayed Nobunaga once in favor of Nobukatsu, and subsequently served Nobunaga ably in all of her campaigns. His attempt to succeed her after Honnouji was tragically defeated by UsefulNotes/ToyotomiHideyoshi, which lead to his and Oichi's suicides and eventually to Chacha's own conflict-filled life. Understandably, much of his issues in [[MyGreatestFailure failing to protect all of them and survive]] [[TragicVillain most likely contribute to his Mad Enhancement]].
* UnwinnableBossFight: Downplayed. Shibata can be defeated in gameplay, but the party is still overwhelmed by him in story regardless.

Tamamo Cat is obvious, while Vitch is Bunnies, due to her fondness of Hugh Hefner.
* AppropriatedAppellation: While the original Tamamo repudiates being identified as the evil Chinese nine-tailed fox Daji, Tamamo-Vitch embraces the identity and claims it as her True Name.

* EnemyWithout: To each other, but mostly to the Tamamo who tried to banish them to an eldritch zone where they might have suffered DeathOfPersonality. Also, Cat indicates she didn't treat them much better even before that point.

Amusingly, Tamamo Cat has convinced herself that she's a cat, while Tamamo-Vitch -- a fangirl of Hugh Hefner -- insists she's a bunny rather than a fox.
* SecondLove: Of a sort. While the original still holds her torch for Hakuno, Cat has accepted that she won't get to see them again and has grown quite attached to the Chaldean Master.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: A few of them have run into this. Tamamo-Vitch had it worst; for years people were unsure if it was "Vicci", "Bichi" or just literally ''bitch'', as harsh as that seemed; the English version of Saber Wars came
down with -Vitch, however, putting the argument to bed. Saber Wars, however, ''caused'' a new debate, because the Tamamo who was previously thought to be named "Tamamo Aria" was instead called Tamamo-''alia''. It's unclear if this was [[{{Engrish}} a common typo]] or if it's as iron-clad as -Vitch.
* ThereCanOnlyBeOne: Each of them strives to become the "original" Tamamo. Cat expresses this in her desire to outshine Caster Tamamo in all fields, even if she's decided against actually trying to murder Tamamo
since she doesn't like men who run around naked.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Just like his underling Astolfo, he's a little weird, which is why he encouraged Astolfo
she's determined it wouldn't actually solve anything. [[spoiler:Vitch one-ups this desire by intending to wear women's clothing. Notably, the Roland remnant that the party engages become a new Beast separate from Amaterasu, Tamamo-no-Mae's own original self.]]

Tamamo angrily demands to know how Cat knew about that, to which Cat replies they're chasing a fake instead of the real Roland.

----
* AnimalMotifs: Each of them apart from the orginal take on a different type of animal motif ether on top of or instead of their fox motif.
* DivergentCharacterEvolution: Each one was originally a PaletteSwap of Tamamo in her ''CCC'' ending, but starting with Tamamo Cat, they all began to receive unique appearances and character traits. Cat still retains the red kimono in early ascensions but even she eventually loses it.
* EnemyWithout: To each other, but mostly to the Tamamo who tried to banish them to an eldritch zone where they might have suffered DeathOfPersonality. Also, Cat indicates she didn't treat them much better even before that point.
* GodhoodSeeker: Tamamo-Vitch wants to [[spoiler:apotheosize into a Beast without reverting back into Amaterasu, though after her HazyFeelTurn becoming a Beast takes a back seat to her new objectives and she instead decides to pursue apotheosis as the Greater Goddess of Weaponry Ikusautsuwa-no-Ōmikami]].
* HazyFeelTurn: [[spoiler:The [[Characters/FateGrandOrderAssassinsGToM Assasssin-class Servant Koyanskaya of Light]] is a somewhat-repentant [[Characters/FateGrandOrderForeignGodAndForces Tamamo-Vitch]], who sides with Chaldea after her plan to become a Beast is put on ice.]]
* {{Kitsune}}: The Tamamo Nine are fragments of Tamamo-no-Mae's power manifested as doppelgangers of her -- attractive women with fox ears and tails -- though Tamamo herself is actually a goddess incarnated in the form of a ''kitsune''.
Tamamo-Vitch had it worst; for years people were unsure if it was "Vicci", "Bichi" or just literally ''bitch'', as harsh as that seemed; the English version of Saber Wars came down with -Vitch, however, putting the argument to bed.
Cat expresses this in her desire to outshine Caster Tamamo in all fields, even if she's decided against actually trying to murder Tamamo since she's determined it wouldn't actually solve anything. [[spoiler:Vitch one-ups this desire by intending to become a new Beast separate from Amaterasu, Tamamo-no-Mae's own original self.]]
* WeightWoe: According to Cat in "Sparrow's Inn Daily Report - Records of the Enma-tei's Prosperity", the reason Tamamo separated off the Nine was because she felt like she was gaining weight and decided to cut off her tails because she couldn't be bothered to diet. Tamamo angrily demands to know how Cat knew about that, to which Cat replies they're the same person, and that Tamamo couldn't even bothered to brush her tails properly.

'''Illustrated by''': Keikenchi\\

One of Oda Nobunaga's vassals, known for being the second of Japan's Three Great Unifiers after Nobunaga's succession, as well as the source of several lasting cultural legacies of samurai. He is also the husband of Chacha, Nobunaga's niece.\\\

He made his debut in the ''Fate/GUDAGUDA Order'' promotional comics, though has yet to make a physical appearance in the main game despite receiving numerous mentions.
----
* AdvertisedExtra: Exclusively appears in the strips, to the point where he gains a CensorBox over his eyes to indicate his non-appearance in the game.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: To both Mitsuhide and Shibata. Mitsuhide thought that Nobunaga favored Hideyoshi more to his anger which led to [[spoiler:Mitsuhide killing her in jealous rage]]. Hideyoshi was also the man that avenged and then succeeded Nobunaga which Shibata failed to do. When we see both of them, it's obvious that Hideyoshi still hangs in their minds.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: He was happy to be Nobunaga's lackey and often amused her with his funny hijinks, leading to him being nicknamed Monkey. But he was also capable of hideous acts of cruelty, casually ordering the mutilation of dissenters, murdering all of their friends and relatives, and torching their villages without a second thought.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Subverted. Hideyoshi's ability to be generous to his allies and heartless to his enemies led to accusations that he was a calculating sociopath who wore the mask of a kind man in public before taking it off to do the actual ruling in private. According to Chacha, this is false, as both his kindness and his cruelty are both true and straight from the heart.
* CanonImmigrant: He originally showed up because Okita and Nobu didn't have anyone to introduce that week, and stuck around for a while afterwards.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: As the regent, Hideyoshi cracked down on dissent with vicious and brutal swiftness. But he genuinely loved Chacha and doted on her even as people passed scandalous rumors about the two of them behind his back.
* FallenHero: He was referred to as being a virtuous man to be able to unite Japan from the chaotic times, and his ''KOHA-ACE'' self was portrayed to be more or less hilarious and an okay guy (for its standards). But according to Chacha from what she said to Kagetora, Hideyoshi in his latter years was 'an incorrigible playboy with nothing resembling morals' that created a great mess for others to clean up because he had been more reckless in those times.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: ''None'' of the other members of Nobunaga's inner circle have anything nice to say about him, from Mitsuhide's [[GreenEyedMonster mad jealousy and envy]] to Shibata's understandable resentment at being murdered. Even Nobunaga herself is more amused and impressed by him than ''liking'' him. Even Chacha confesses to Kagetora that the latter Hideyoshi was a FallenHero.
* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: Pulled one on Nobu when she got mad at the prospect of not being in the game. His method was [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe slicing her in half]], relying on the comic's usual use of SnapBack to bring her back to normal; unfortunately for him, there wasn't any the next few strips.
* TheGhost: In the game proper, he's referred to by Mitsuhide and Nobu during the Honnouji incident.
* {{Irony}}: His Sword Hunt Noble Phantasm, which lets him steal the weapons of others and is in itself linked to his national disarmament Sword Hunt policy back when he was alive, is in turn stolen from him (along with most everything else) by Andras in the second GUDAGUDA event.
* JustTheFirstCitizen: Because he lacked Nobu and Ieyasu's noble pedigrees, he could never truly hold the title of "shogun" and instead had to make do with referring to himself as a regent.
* TheLancer: To Nobu. Or TheDragon depending on who you ask.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Nobu calls him "Saru/Monkey" most of the time, hailing from their relationship in ''KOHA-ACE''. Mitsuhide meanwhile uses the far more derogatory "Ape" when referring to him.
* PrimaryColorChampion: Yellow to Nobu's Red and Ieyasu's Blue.
* RapidAging: While he never really gets to demonstrate it since he's only used in gag strips, his main Noble Phantasm, Child of the Sun, lets him live out his entire legend over the course of two weeks. When summoned, he is a spirited but unimpressive young man, who grows over the course of seven days into the most powerful man in Japan (giving him ridiculously inflated stats and improved skills and NP) then decays into an increasingly useless old man during the week after that.
* TheRival: To Ieyasu, Akechi, and Katsuie among many others.
* SubordinateExcuse: At bare minimum, [[spoiler:Mitsuhide is convinced this was very much the case between Nobunaga and Hideyoshi, though [[CrazyJealousGuy he's not exactly completely credible]].]]

* MythologyGag: Kama being an Avenger servant is a reference to Dark Sakura being the person who hosted the original Avenger servant in ''VisualNovel/FateStayNight''. Some of her attacks as well as her Noble Phantasm summon what appears to be the tentacles of the Shadow and summon Shadow Giants respectively. Her swimsuit in story (not in Ascension) also appears to be made up of strips of cloth ...which makes it have a huge resemblance to Sakura's tentacle dress.
