As a result, he's closer to Hidomi (who simply thought nothing about her future or friends) than the others.

[[spoiler:Harumi got misplaced since he was a child into Kana's dimension by accident, depositing him into a different family while he turned into a girl. As the years went by, he became rebellious to his new family and at school, while he chose to dress in a similar way that reminded him of his twin sister from his dimension. As a result, he became a crazy loner who was heavily implied to seek death because he didn't know how to solve his problem for a whole decade, channeling all that pent up anger into wanting to destroy Tsuganei Tower which could possibly destroy the whole world, though he didn't mind if that were to happen.]]

* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Episode 3 reveals that [[spoiler: before the universe split into two parallel dimensions Harumi had just moved to Mars with her family. After the split she suddenly found herself on Earth with a totally different family but retained her memories of her old life. She grew up feeling like she never fit in as a result]].

* BoomHeadshot: [[spoiler:At the end of episode 2, she apparently gets accidentally shot by a sniper, ordered to do so by Kanda to trigger an emotional response from Masaki. The shot only goes through because an apparition freaked the sniper out.]]
