She ends up needing to be rescued when Illega spots her, thanks to her having no weapons and falling victim to his paralytic toxin, but the next time they cross paths, she's able to swipe Illega's gun at the first opportunity and take him down herself.
** In the Belial Gore arc, she gets captured by Sylph[=/=]Kleene and brought to Drakken Joe after engaging her in a starfighter battle. She's ultimately forced to join Drakken's crew to spare her friends from a FateWorseThanDeath, though Drakken has Weisz's arm amputated as compensation, and Shiki gets killed when he refuses to submit. She only escapes when her Ether Gear fully awakens, allowing her to jump into World No. 30 from before any of her friends try to face Drakken.

* NecessaryDrawback: In order to keep her TimeRewindMechanic from being too overpowered, Rebecca discovers several limits to it. The first is that she can only consciously rewind time back up to a few minutes; the second is that once she's winded back to a "point", it becomes an anchor that she can't go past; and third, she can only use it two or three times in a short period of time, as any more after that not only causes fatigue, but [[BodyHorror her body starts to crack apart]]. She also notes this particular application of her power is separate from the week-long jump she made during the Belial Gore arc, which she still doesn't know how to use at will.

* NotCheatingUnlessYouGetCaught: Rebecca hates cheating to the point where she doesn't want to cheat even if her opponent is. However, when the stakes are raised in the Lost Card game, she uses Reverse to cheat before she even knows that Lyra is cheating herself. * FireForgedFriends: He initially starts off wanting nothing to do with the crew, only helping them escape from Norma so he can go on the lam, and almost selling them out to Elsie for his own safety right afterward. After coming back to introduce Homura to the crew so he can use her to model outfits in the ship's Dress Factory, he winds up unwittingly earning their trust through the small acts of kindness he does along the way, proving that he has come to care for them despite himself.

* HeroicSelfDeprecation: In the Foresta arc, he shows that he has a very low opinion of himself after his Arsenal Suit gets totaled and he resorts to far more brutal tactics that no superhero would be caught dead doing. This all but confirms that his "superhero" alter ego is a projection of the person he'd rather be than the lowlife crook he really is. Hermit, on the other hand, gives him a YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre one-liner.

* InSpiteOfANail:
** ZigZagged in the Belial Gore arc. Despite Old Weisz's assertion that Young Weisz is his own person with his own life, he still gets his arm cut off as a form of punishment from Drakken Joe, albeit under completely different circumstances (in Weisz's original life, it was for stealing money from him 50 years ago; in his new life, it's for breaking into Drakken's ship in the present). However, this is undone by Rebecca's time leap.
** [[spoiler:Before the CosmicRetcon, Weisz stole Pino's briefcase because it belonged to Sibir, whom he was looking to get back at for supposedly stealing from him. Despite getting agitated by Drakken's lack of remorse into pulling the trigger, he can't find it in himself to take his life and instead aims for the ground next to his head.

* LostInTranslation: His name is meant to be the word "[[PunnyName Wise]]", as shown on the door sign of his quarters in the manga, but Kodansha opted for the spelling "Weisz" and didn't change it once the spelling was made clear.
