** It's only by a few moments, but she is Donald's older twin. And she must have been so beloved by him to make him so resentful at his Uncle Scrooge for her absence. Goddess of the Moon, Selene, claims that Della was pretty much this to everyone.

Huey, Dewey, and Louie's mother, and Donald's older twin sister. She's been missing since before the triplets were born. Her absence is the DrivingQuestion of the first season, and continues to have a significant impact even into the second season.

* StrongFamilyResemblance: Della greatly resembles a younger version of her Aunt Matilda.

* OppositeSexClone: [[spoiler:Was created from Scrooge’s DNA to find the Papyrus of Binding.]]

* HumblePie: She angrily rips Gyro's manual after she sees a note reading "even Della could it". After attempting to fix her rocket without instructions [[RealityEnsues and failing miserably]], she is forced to swallow her pride, fix the manual she previously ripped to shreds, and learn it by heart.

** This was shown as a driving theme in "Nothing Can Stop Della Duck!" She finally meets her children, and goes out of her way to try and make up on lost time. But considering she basically missed the necessary transition into motherhood, [[RealityEnsues there's no way she would be mentally prepared to be a proper mother right off the bat.]] Scrooge knows this, and lets the boys know that, like they will have to get used to having a mother, she will have to get used to being one.

* {{Forgiveness}}: Della outright told Louie in ''Timephoon!'' that he his quick rick scheme nearly cost their family and punished him for his actions. After he went to his room, Della got a hold of herself and hoped that she wasn't too harsh with Louie. In the next episode, Della forgives Louie when he sees his effort in helping Scrooge and hearing that he was truly sorry for his actions.

* AdvertisedExtra: While she's still a major protagonist who plays an integral part in the overall story, with the opening and promotional material agreeing with this, her appearances are surprisingly scattered throughout the series, beating out even Donald for lowest amount total in the show. She does appear more in the second and third seasons, though her final episode count is still fairly sparse.

* AgeLift: In the previous series, Webby was younger than the triplets. Here, WordOfGod confirmed she is around the same age as them.

* HereditaryHairstyle: [[spoiler:WordOfGod says that the way her hair juts out on the side away from the camera is specifically supposed to mimic the silhouette of Scrooge's hair tufts.]]

* AmicableExes: He parted on good terms with both Ziyi and Oceanica. WordOfGod suggests [[https://suspendersofdisbelief.tumblr.com/post/179509661636/real-talk-how-many-girlfriends-has-launchpad-had he's like this with all of his exes]]. [[spoiler:Eventually, after some awkwardness following their bad first/only date, he becomes this with Penumbra as well.]]
* AnythingThatMoves: Aside from girlfriends of various different species, his past paramours also include a clone of himself, a sapient cloud, and a were-duck whose [[WordOfGod concept artist]] described as being non-binary.

* ChickMagnet: Just like his original character, Launchpad seems to be a hit with the ladies. He has two ex-lovers that we know of so far, and one of them is a mermaid. WordOfGod suggests [[https://suspendersofdisbelief.tumblr.com/post/179509661636/real-talk-how-many-girlfriends-has-launchpad-had he had many more significant others]]. "The Dangerous Chemistry of Gandra Dee!" confirms this.

* TheDitz: He seems more dumb than his version in the original show. Although WordOfGod denies him being stupid and insists he's PureGood.

* IncompatibleOrientation: He's immediately smitten with Penumbra, who unfortunately turns out to not be interested in "Earth males." WordOfGod confirmed she meant she was a lesbian.
* IncorruptiblePurePureness: WordOfGod describes him as pure, which isn't hard to believe given how incredibly nice and innocent he is.

* TomatoInTheMirror: Parodied, when a paranoid Launchpad (who, after watching a creepy movie, believes anyone could be a mole monster) is told by Dewey that by his logic, he could be a mole monster. Launchpad agrees with this and decides to improve his "brethren's" reputation above ground. Hilariously? According to WordOfGod, he MIGHT still believe this.

* UniversalDriversLicense: Slightly more universal than his original incarnation insofar as he is now Scrooge's limo driver (a job which belonged to Duckworth in the original series) as well as jack-of-all-trades with regard to driving any vehicle Scrooge uses adventuring -- though he'll insist that he's ''really'' a pilot. Ironically, he didn't even ''have'' a driver's license until "Beware the B.U.D.D.Y System!". He also doesn't have a pilot's license according to WordOfGod.

* AdaptationalWimp: In the original show, Launchpad McQuack is one of the most dangerous members of the cast besides Scrooge himself. During the first season alone, he saves the triplets from hostile aliens, pulls off [[BeyondTheImpossible a supposedly impossible maneuver]] to rescue Scrooge during an aerial battle with the Beagle Boys, and successfully substitutes for a spy. The reboot version gets sidelined or becomes useless in a fight quite a bit more frequently, especially because he's also much ditzier.

* AmbiguouslyBi: When [[WordOfGod show runner Frank Angones]] [[https://suspendersofdisbelief.tumblr.com/post/179509661636/real-talk-how-many-girlfriends-has-launchpad-had discussed Launchpad's numerous past romances]], he very specifically used gender-neutral words and pronouns. Becomes less ambiguous when Launchpad lists [[ScrewYourself a clone of himself]] among his past paramours[[note]]barring the possibility that it was an OppositeSexClone[[/note]].

* WasTooHardOnHim: In "The Golden Armory of Cornelius Coot!", she gets increasingly frustrated with Launchpad for his unorthodox methods in operating the Sunchaser/Cloudslayer, eventually blowing at him for crashing into the mountain which could have gotten them killed (and is surprised they survived). When she has a heart-to-heart talk with Webby about not having to be someone else to be worthy, she realizes she was forcing Launchpad exactly the opposite of her lesson and decides she must apologize to him.

Late in Season 2, she finally finds a way home, and [[HesBack reunites with the McDuck Family.]] From then on, she's gone on to become a main character, even being PromotionToOpeningTitles in Season 3.

* TomatoInTheMirror: [[spoiler: She doesn’t take well TheReveal that she’s a clone created by the F.O.W.L. as a pawn to the plan of destroying Scrooge McDuck. She changes her tune when she discovers that her progenitor is Scrooge himself, making her his biological daughter.]]

** And to top it all off, she had to spend the entire time chewing [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Black Licorice Oxy-Chew]].

** Adding onto her poor social skills, Webby is very naive and rarely questions anything. This is shown two ways; the first is when trying to make new friends. She's very trustworthy, but unless they have done something for her to question them, she assumes they are not bad people, thus someone like Lena can get close to her even though Lena seems to be a bit shady considering what she wanted to do in her first episode.

** She was completely flustered when Webby [[InnocentlyInsensitive accidentally implied she doesn’t have many friends.]]

* OneOfTheBoys: When the triplets were heading off to Funzo's, they say, "Come on, boys!" Webby initially thinks she's not being included. Dewey makes a point of asking if she's coming when she doesn't seem to join them. It doesn't hurt that she's an ActionGirl with little experience outside of situations of peril.

* StrongFamilyResemblance: [[spoiler:She has the exact same basic design that every other member of the Duck/[=McDuck=] family had as a preteen.]]

* DaddysGirl: [[spoiler:Retroactively. Webby has openly admired Scrooge for her entire life and he has been her HonoraryUncle since the first season, though neither of them were aware that they were biologically father and daughter until the GrandFinale.]]

* OutOfFocus: Falls under this during the second half of season 3 post-Let's Get Dangerous where he only makes two appearances (in How Santa Stole Christmas in a brief cameo [[note]]it was the second produced episode of season 3 and made as a standalone to be aired anywhere in the season[[/note]] and the series finale).

* CloningBlues: [[spoiler:"The Last Adventure!" reveals she was cloned from Scrooge's DNA in order for Bradford to find the Papyrus of Binding after Scrooge wrote that only his true heir would be able to find it, manipulating Webby into finding it for him to ensure Scrooge would never go out adventuring again.]]

* CatchPhrase: She introduces herself to every new character they encounter with "Hi! I'm Webby."

* GenerationXerox: To Della Duck. Both are adventurous, excitable {{Action Girl}}s who have father/daughter relationship with Scrooge. They even pose the same way in "Moonvasion!".

* PracticallyDifferentGenerations: [[spoiler:She considers her clones May and June to be her sisters, both of whom are around 10 years younger than her despite appearing to be the same age. This also goes the other way with Donald and Della, who were raised by her biological father and are roughly 25 years older than her.]]

** [[spoiler:"The Last Adventure!" reveals that she has gotten much better at it. Not only does she pull off the aforementioned soda lie at the beginning of the episode, she also manages to trick F.O.W.L. into thinking that she is June and even gets Beakly to reveal the truth about her with this trick.]]
