The first of the three [[AuthorAvatar Author Avatars]] of the main group, Ben Shigura (or [=TheAstuteDevil=], as he is known on Deviantart) is the fifth character to be introduced in the first chapter alongside Chris and Enrico.

* ElementalPowers: Being descended from the Mage of Order, Ben ends up harnessing the power of the elements. His control over them is small but slowly growing as the story progresses.

Since the events of ''WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddysBigPictureShow'' though, he has since ceased this behavior of his and is now a loved and respected member of his neighborhood.

* ChubbyChaser: When he meets the Debufuto Sisters, he is instantly smitten with them, clarifying that big girls need love too.
* ReformedButNotTamed: He may no longer be trying to emulate his brother and is trying to make friends the honest way, but that doesn't mean he hasn't stopped his scamming ways.
