** When the three hunters in the 3 Hunters Finale ambush Dream in a cave and nearly kill him, Dream throws a Splash Potion of Invisibility onto the ground, affecting everyone in the vicinity. Since all of them had full iron armor, a shield, and a diamond sword, the three were confused and unable to tell who was who, even resulting in Sapnap and George attacking Bad as they assumed he was Dream (and you can even see Bad attack Sapnap back) despite George telling everyone to crouch and Bad doing so. Dream uses this confusion to kill a weakened Bad and escape from the trio.

* FriendOrFoe: In the 3 Hunters Finale, after all three are confused by Dream throwing down a Splash Potion of Invisibility (and all of them including Dream coincidentally sharing the same armor, shield, and sword), Sapnap mistakenly assumes Bad is Dream and begins attacking him, even hitting George a little due to the sword's splash damage. Due to Bad being weakened, Dream took the opportunity to finish Bad and escape from the trio.

* DivideAndConquer: How he manages to still outperform all of the Hunters in combat even when they're together as 3-5 hunters. He runs away when he is outnumbered and surrounded but attacks and kill them when they're by themselves or in duos to prevent himself from being swarmed and defeated by sheer numbers.

* OutGambitted: In the 5 Hunters Finale Rematch, after a long and lengthy battle in the End with the five hunters, Dream sees an unarmored and weak Bad and chases him, but Bad flips the switch by unleashing an End Crystal and detonating it, killing Dream instantly.

Added DiffLines:

* DefensiveFeintTrap: In the 5 Hunters Finale, Bad gets Dream to chase him (as he is not fully armored with any weapons and shield on hand) before unleashing an End Crystal, detonating it, and killing Dream instantly with it.

* While the trio almost killed Dream in a forest chase in the 3 Hunters Rematch, Dream drinking a Fire Resistance potion to fool George into thinking it was a Strength potion (since George is colorblinded and he may have also panicked as Dream wouldn't have stopped to drink a potion if it wasn't Strength) and thus making George run away (with Bad and Sapnap following his lead) allows Dream to heal up and regain a fighting chance against the trio.

** When the 3 hunters in the 3 Hunters Finale ambush Dream in a cave and nearly kill him, Dream throws a Splash Potion of Invisibility onto the ground, affecting all. Since all of them had full Iron gear, a shield, and a Diamond sword, they're promptly confused with Sapnap and George ending up attacking Bad as they assumed he was Dream (and you can even see Bad attack Sapnap back) despite George telling everyone to crouch and Bad doing so. Dream uses this confusion to kill a weakened Bad and escape from the trio.
** In the 4 Hunters video, Dream is up very high on a small group of blocks in the Nether. While they try to find him, they cannot as his leaves he used to build up do not drop as an item when broken, causing them to be confused as their compass also cannot detect if Dream is up or down. When he reveals himself to get them to tower up, he begins to fire arrows at them. They naturally begin to build a platform so they could not be knocked off by the arrows but Dream counters this too by using a ''fishing rod'' to bring up both Ant and Bad and let them drop to their demise, which they were not prepared to counter against (and could not MLG water bucket as water evaporates in the Nether).

* HyperAwareness: Something that's present in every Manhunt. He's nearly always aware of what the hunters are doing based on their conversations and the achievements and he also makes sure to plan traps to catch them off guard and escape routes and such in case things go south.

* OvertOperative: Since Dream is on the same Discord call as the hunters, they have to be secretive about what they're doing so as to catch Dream by surprise. Due to their LargeHam tendencies, however, they often give away what they're doing regardless. Bad is especially guilty.

to:

* OutGambitted: Most of their plans and traps on Dream have failed miserably and/or backfired heavily.
** Their plan to ambush Dream when he enters through the End Portal in the 3 Hunters Grand Finale gets literally obliterated when Dream dunks tons of TNT into the portal to destroy their dirt surface and send them into the void, leaving him with lots of leeway.

* BatmanGambit: In the 3 Hunters Grand Finale, he managed to figure out that the three hunters were already at the End Portal and were waiting to ambush the moment he teleported based solely on their conversations and the fact that neither three attempted to chase Dream during his search of the End. He thus detonates loads of TNT through the portal to destroy their dirt surface and cause them to fall to the void, also making them lose all of their equipment and leaving him with plenty of leeway to kill the Ender Dragon.

* DefensiveFeintTrap: In the 3 Hunters Rematch, he leads the 3 hunters into a forest during a chase. He only has 1 heart left before he could be killed in one hit, but hits back hard by drinking a potion of Fire Resistance (to trick the hunters into thinking it is a Strength potion which could easily kill them even with armor) and chase them off, giving him enough time to heal up and have a fighting chance once more.

** In one of the 3 Hunters videos, Dream led the hunters on a chase through a forest. He ducked behind a tree and drank a Fire Resistance potion. Unable to tell which effect he was using, George thought he was drinking Strength and signaled Bad and Sapnap to back up, giving Dream time to heal.

Added DiffLines:

* FlawExploitation: On the receiving hand. As mentioned above, his colorblindness made him mistakenly assume that Dream's Fire Resistance potion was actually a Strength potion (which Dream did intentionally to him), causing him to run away screaming and thus alerting Sapnap and Bad to do the same.

* DoomMagnet: The number of episodes he's not been attacked by endermen in can be counted on one hand. And that's including episodes where they never make it to The End.

* TheHeavy: Sapnap is by far the most formidable and bloodthirsty Hunter in combat, and is the most bold in group attacks.

* LargeHam: He tends to be quite loud.

* TookALevelInBadass: While all the hunters have improved over time, Sapnap in particular has gotten much better at the game. He went from being the ButtMonkey to the only member of the hunters [[TheDreaded Dream]] will feel apprehensive about fighting one-on-one. See the main page for more.

* TheLeader: Bad comes up with many of the Hunters' big plans, and is adept at delegating his teammates to fulfill certain objectives such as sending George and Sapnap to keep up with Dream while he and Ant mine for resources.
* NeverMyFault: Bad is very quick to blame others when things go wrong.

Added DiffLines:

* CatFolk: His skin is very feline.
* LargeHam: Averted, despite being a member of the Dream Team. See TheQuietOne below.
* TheQuietOne: By comparison. Dream, George, Sapnap and Bad are all large hams, and while Sam is as level-headed as Ant is, Ant doesn't speak much while Sam tends to offer more inputs for traps, planning and information.

Added DiffLines:

* LargeHam: Unlike almost the rest of the Dream Team, averted. He's usually quite calm, except for when Dream does something unexpected.
* OhCrap: When Dream begins towering up in the end, his reaction can only be described as this.
