* BreakTheCutie: Being trapped in the crystal for over two hundred years, seeing her two best friends horribly changed and seeing the damage magic has wrought to the world breaks her heart, and turns her from the sweet girl Warlic and Xan knew and into a cold, bitter and angry person.

By the end of the saga she is completely subdued and broken, though she still agrees to help Magus Neron and Chaney however possible in their quest to develop a cure for lycanthropy.

The leader of the Rose garrison near Falconreach. While she very firmly believes in the Rose's cause, she does have some concerns about the Rose's occasional brutality and the corruption in their ranks.

* BlindSeer: Her eyesight was destroyed in a magical accident, but she can sense the magic, and by extension, the wills of other people.
* CursedWithAwesome: She views the magic within everyone as a curse. She has been spending much of her time in Surewould forest capturing magical wildlife in hopes of "treating" them.
* DarkIsNotEvil: She can summon shadows to attack, but isn't a villain.
* EnemyMine: She is one of the few Rose members willing to work with the Hero against greater foes.
* HandicappedBadass: Being blind doesn't stop her being a competent fighter. In fact she's one of the most strongest guests the Hero can join up with.
* HeroAntagonist: In a sense she's just a hero on the opposite side as the player. Unlike most Rose members who are {{Well Intentioned Extremist}}s, she does not possess any malice or violent intent. She genuinely want to help those wronged by magic. She even believes that magic practitioners are simply misguided rather than evil, and is willing to let them change their minds on their own.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: She is genuinely trying to help Lore. Human settlements have often been attacked by dragons, {{Necromancer}}s commonly enslave the spirits of the deceased, and her own eyesight was destroyed in a magical accident. As a result, she believes that magic just isn't worth the trouble. Where other members of The Rose try to enslave, imprison, or otherwise get rid of The Hero, she is actually willing to ally with him/her against mutual foes and hopes to bring The Hero to The Rose's side.

Her parents were slain by a glass golem in the middle of the night and Raven manages to escape to Amityville. However, none of the residents there were willing to let her in out of fear of the horrors outside except for Thursday, who warmly gave her shelter.]] This strongly fuels Raven's loyalty to Thursday.
