Too fantastical.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Like Vegeta's sacrifice not being enough to redeem him of his sins, Dabura becoming a LoveFreak, and helping the women search for Gohan in the afterlife, wasn't enough to [[RedemptionEarnsLife get him wished back to life as per the specifications of the wish in question]].

Six plant monsters grown by Nappa to fight the Z warriors.
----
* ActionBomb: Saibaman Bomb, their ace in the hole, turns them into one. In ''Budokai 3'' they have a timer on their head that counts down to 0.
* AdaptationalWimp: It's hard to believe, but even these guys get hit with this. In the main series, while nothing compared to the saiyans, they were still something of a credible threat to the heroes and even took out Yamcha [[SuicideAttack via bombing.]] The various video games over the decades have them as little more than {{Mooks}} that the players can walk through like dried styrofoam.
* AxCrazy: Their debut in the anime shows them destroying the surrounding rocky outcroppings and then shrieking with maniacal glee.
* HollywoodAcid: Able to shoot it from their heads.
* LastOfHisKind: Nappa says that the six they bring to Earth are all that's left after a crazy battle that saw a large number of them killed. By the end of the arc, they're extinct.
* {{Mooks}}: And in ''Videogame/DragonBallOnline'' they've become established on Earth and diversified to fill several ecological and mook niches.
* OrganicTechnology: The Daizenshuu, the first Tenkaichi game, and ''VideoGame/DragonBallZKakarot'' all state that they were artificial lifeforms created by the Saiyans using biotechnology.
* PintsizedPowerhouse: The Saibamen are about 4 feet tall, but they are as strong as Raditz.
* PlantPerson: They're grown from seeds.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: In case you had any doubts. Their crazed behavior is accented by their red sclera.
* SoLastSeason: They may be mooks, but they're the equivalent to Raditz in power (though one of the games says that their power is dependent on the quality of the soil they're planted in). The Z Fighters are still able to destroy them with little effort, except for when Yamcha gets hit with one's SuicideAttack.
* SuicideAttack: Saibaman Bomb is a kamikaze technique that turns the Saibaman into a living bomb that grabs hold of its opponent with an extremely tight grip and quickly self-destructs. Just ask Yamcha.
* StrongerThanTheyLook: Judging only by their appearances, the saibamen resemble the classic low-level goblins, but they are really as strong as Raditz, so they could beat any character in the first part of Dragon Ball. (Which includes King Piccolo, who could destroy cities).
* TheUnintelligible: They can't speak normally, only shrieking and moaning. They do seemingly understand Nappa and Vegeta's orders without any problems. Goku questions in ''Budokai 2's'' story mode if a saibaman can even talk for real.
* WhatMeasureIsAMook: Vegeta callously blew one up for losing to Tien.

!!''Ferocisaurus'' (ワイルドサウルス)

A filler villain large predatory dinosaur who only appears in develops a fixation on Gohan and tries to eat the anime. He is young boy whenever they encounter each other. It serves as the dictator of planet Arlia. He comes into conflict first real adversary Gohan has to contend with Vegeta and Nappa when they come to conquer Arlia, and is eventually killed by them.on his own.

Despite Gohan being incredibly scared of the dinosaur, he does eventually overcome his fears whereupon the ''Ferocisaurus'' no longer bears a threat to him.
* SuperPersistentPredator: It's pretty dead-set on trying to kill Gohan and gobble him up for lunch. That is, [[TheHunterBecomesTheHunted until Gohan starts hunting him instead]], cutting off a slice of his tail to take for eating.
* TRexpy: It's basically a ''Tyrannosaurus'' with longer forelimbs and crests not too different from what you'd expect from a hadrosaur. Interestingly, it happens to coexist with the real dinosaur in the general setting.
* TokenMotivationalNemesis: It serves as one for Gohan, being its first true enemy he has to deal with, all a part of a training regime by Piccolo to toughen the boy up by the time the Saiyans arrive on Earth. Gohan is initially terrified of the dinosaur, but over time becomes braver and even outsmarts the beast.
* WouldHurtAChild: Its not picky about what it wants to eat and is more than eager to chase Gohan down for lunch.

His name is Pocus in the official English manga.

[[folder:Pui Pui]]

to:

[[folder:Pui Pui]]Pui/Pocus]]

Added DiffLines:

* LostInTranslation: His name fits the magic incantation theme naming of Babidi's minions, but it's not apparent to an English viewer; [[https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%81%A1%E3%81%A1%E3%82%93%E3%81%B7%E3%81%84%E3%81%B7%E3%81%84 "chichin puipui"]] is often used as a magic word in Japanese popular culture, much like "abracadabra" (note the name of his boss, Dabura, his boss's bosses: Bibidi-Babidi-Buu). The Viz English manga changes his name to "Pocus" (as in "hocus pocus") in an attempt to rectify this. It's also stereotypically associated with Arabic-themed magic in Japanese shows, hence the faction's genie theming.

His power level measures at 450,000, putting him halfway over Salt. Vinegar, while not much of a looker compared to Spice, is more humanoid aside from his purple skin and pointy ears and can be considered moderately hunky to have his six-exposed like his commander. His power level caps at 800,000 making him twice as powerful as the previous two. Finally, Spice is the most humanoid of the four and could pass as a conventional [[{{Bishonen}} pretty boy]] if not for his pointy ears and turquoise skin. His power level is equal to Frieza's second form at 1,000,000 which is only 500,000 lower than his master Garlic Jr. during his return.

They weren't targeting Gohan specifically. They had never heard of him until the tournament.

Two human fighters possessed and empowered by Babidi, sent to infiltrate the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai and to drain all of Gohan's ki in order to draw out enough energy to revive Majin Buu. Once their job was done, Babidi, having no more use for them, has them both killed.

* BareYourMidriff: Both Spice and Vinegar have their six-packs on display thanks to their armor having windows where the plating should be.

* CleavageWindow: Vinegar sports a rare male example when his armor stretches to accommodate his muscle mass upon powering up with the Makyo Star. Him already having a window [[BareYourMidriff displaying his abs]] combined with this new opening makes for a [[FashionVictimVillain rather bizarre look.]] It’s possible that Mustard would've had one too had he still been alive to change.

* UnderestimatingBadassery: Like Shin, he badly underestimated the Saiyans. If Vegeta didn't feel the need to sell his soul to beat Goku, Babidi's entire plan would have been ruined. He also keeps underestimating his enemies, like thinking Piccolo wasn't strong enough to break his barrier or that Super Saiyan 3 Goku couldn't kill Majin Buu. Amazingly, he even underestimates Buu, [[TooDumbToLive thinking that he could keep the Majin under control with threats and brute force]].
