Jenna became distraught and irrational when she realized who Gale was, and in her grief, refusing to accept the truth stabbed him through his stomach. Heat found himself in a barren wasteland covered in ruins and statues of the dead where he was discovered by Madame Cuvier, who explained to Heat the purpose of the Junkyard and who he really was. Heat was an AI secretly created by Sera to represent Heat O'Brian, a colleague of Serph Sheffield who in Sera's eyes, always appeared angry, which was reflected in his AI model. To Sera, Heat was her evil prince who secretly loved her and would compete with the AI of Serph for her attention. When Sera was alone, she would play with Heat and the other AIs she had created on the beaches and in the parks of her own virtual paradise. Not long after the tragic day that Sera discovered the awful truth about Serph Sheffield and the Black Sun was created, Sera was forced to delete her paradise to make way for the Junkyard. However she could not bare to delete Heat, so erased his memories and placed him within the Junkyard project.

When Sera was alone, she would play with Argilla and the other AIs she had created on the beaches and in the parks of her own virtual paradise. Originally {{the Dragon}} of Jinana's tribe, his emotions awaken after being beaten by Serph, Heat and Argilla. He decides to betray his original group in favor of Mick's, though when Mick's plans fail, Bat says that it was his plan all along to betray Mick in favor of the Solids. Bat ultimately dies when, after a rematch with Serph's party in a deserted ship, the entire place explodes as part of Gale's plan to weaken the Solids.

Leader of the Wolves, one of the tribes located in the Junkyard. Although he spends most of the first game at war with the Solids, led by Varin Omega, his tribe takes major casualties soon after Bat is killed. Although he attempts to make a deal with the Embryon, promising his head if they got rid of Varin and treated the Wolves well, he believed it was unhonourable to eat the corpses of his enemies and went mad from hunger.

The name Varin Omega, leader of the Solids tribe of the Junkyard, uses after gaining emotions. Has a huge grudge against Serph, as [[spoiler:he rembers his life before reincarnating, especially Serph Sheffield killing his allies and accidentally causing Sera to turn the sun black.]]
