She didn't "replace the watcher" and pretend to be crazy, the bird wasnt her and she was always the watcher

* ObfuscatingStupidity: Her initial appearance has her look like a deranged, erratic and rather pathetic creature, referred to as 'the weakest of the deadly sins'. [[spoiler: She eventually proves to be far more competent, subtle and cunning when she replaces Fury's Watcher and uses Fury to seal up the other deadly sins and take their power for herself. Considering that she got a good look at Fury before revealing herself, it's likely she was putting on a show to lull Fury into a false confidence.]] She might not be faking her insanity, but she's a lot smarter than she appears.

!The Seven Deadly Sins
The physical representations of pride, wrath, sloth, envy, lust, gluttony and avarice. Long ago, the Charred Council ordered the Four Horsemen to seal them away as their existence imperiled the Balance. After the premature apocalypse, the Sins were set free and fled to Earth to start gaining power over Creation. With War imprisoned and Death and Strife missing, Fury has been sent to destroy them alone.
