Diana receives a substantially bigger role in the comics; she was a Brytunnian noblewoman who accompanied her sister Natala and her brother-in-law in search of a treasure when they were attacked by pirates in service to Thoth-Amon. They tortured Natala's husband to death, while the sisters were sold to slavery. However, they were the two people who know where the treasure is currently located.

He was sent on a mission to catalog the land's history and comes across the Nemedian Chronicles narrating his life. He is the prince whom the opening narration ("Know o Prince") refers to.
