For instance, the beginning of "Woody's Girl" shows a flashback when Malloy was a baby, and he tells Woody he loves him. In the present, Malloy is chasing Woody with a gun.
* VillainProtagonist: Is the closest thing to a recurring BigBad in the series and is one of the main characters of the show.
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Has shades of this in "The Animals Strike Back" in which he wants to kill the ranger who killed his parents. Also, as awful as his actions are, his FreudianExcuse is genuinely tragic; when he was a ''cub'', [[HarmfulToMinors he found his parents after they were shot in their heads and he watched his mother die]] while she told him not to forget them and where he came from.
* VillainousGlutton: He frequently uses Woody's credit card balance to purchase all sorts of junk food.
