* ShipTease: She's rather close with Hyde. To a lesser extent, she is one of the only individuals in the game ''[[{{Jerkass}} Jin]]'' is nice to; the FridgeBrilliance here is that Orie has much in common with Tsubaki Yayoi, his {{Love Interest|s}}.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: The game's localization spells her last name as "Valadier", and the English dub pronounces it as such.

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Being the leader of Amnesia, it's no surprise.

* SequelDifficultyDrop: Hilda is notable for being one of the hardest characters to play in her home game, commonly being ranked as being among the likes of Seth and Vatista. Due to the more beginner-friendly design of this game, she will be significantly easier.

Similar but distinct to Tager, Waldstein is a mid-range grappler who also boasts a good variety of normals with outstanding reach. He also has the joint-highest HP in the game. That being said, he is the slowest character in the game on the ground, and he has a big hurtbox thanks to his huge body leaving him open to ambiguous crossovers. His reversal action is pretty slow on the draw as well and has limited range, so it must be used with care.\\\

Vatista is one of the last remaining Autonomic Nerves, magical constructs built in ancient times to watch over the Hollow Night and exterminate the Voids that infest it. Long ago, she was involved in a conflict between the Night Blade and Licht Kreis where she gave Kuon her Seventh Wing in order to save Waldstein. That Wing was then reforged as Hyde's sword, the Insulator. She then remained dormant and inactive for many years afterwards, before being awakened during Hyde's first Hollow Night after becoming an In-Birth. Hyde invited her to live at his house alongside Linne and Waldstein after she decided to remain awake to investigate the circumstances behind the event further.\\\

Merkava is a Void, one of the many eldritch creatures that stalk the Hollow Night. While Merkava shares the innate and instinctual trait to seek out and consume EXS like others of his kind, he is a rather unique existence among his ilk where he is sentient and able to communicate with others via a form of telepathy, harboring respect for those who speak with him as though he is equal to them, but having no patience for anyone who won't take him seriously. His humanoid form also suggests his overall strength as lesser voids take the shape of lizards and snakes.\\\

Young Mika Returna is a member of Licht Kreis, holding the rank of "Tenth Executor", the lowest rank possible among the organization. She is a childhood friend of Orie, and there is no force or being on Earth, human, In-Birth, Void, Re-Birth or otherwise, that will keep her from fighting alongside her. One fateful day, she accidentally broke a precious vase at Licht Kreis's HQ and was imprisoned as punishment, only for Mika to dig her way out of her cell with a spoon, steal a plane, crash it en route to Japan, and make the rest of the voyage on a homemade raft while fighting her way through the coastal guard; so unwavering is her loyalty in Orie.\\\

* GutturalGrowler: He sounds a lot like [[VideoGame/{{Overwatch}} Torbjorn]] without a Swedish accent.

* GutturalGrowler: His "voice" is very deep and gravelly.

* VocalEvolution: In ''1.0'', Creator/BenDiskin gives Merkava a GutturalGrowler performance when he's in his more lucid moments, and goes into higher-pitched snarls when his inner beast begins to take hold. For Merkava's new dialogue in ''2.0'', the GutturalGrowler aspect is virtually nonexistent, and his voice gets even raspier.
