* ButtMonkey: He apparently was somehow even ''less'' popular than Ben at school (who in the Original Series has been established to be pretty unpopular himself), his only attempt at getting rid of 10 years old Ben [[EpicFail resulted in him being trapped in another dimension without Ben even realizing he was being attacked]], the trip there left him stuck in the body of a little kid, and on top of this, when he finally ''does'' come back to get his revenge, not only does he learn his hated rival has become a world-famous superhero, but [[UnknownRival Ben doesn't remotely remember him]].

* DrillSergeantNasty: [[spoiler:While he didn't bother feeding Zed when she was his pet, it wasn't out of egoism or cruelty. He merely believed that, by forcing her to hunt her own food, that would allow her to keep her hunting instincts and make her more effective.]]

** And let's not forget [[WesternAnimation/Ben10GeneratorRexHeroesUnited Alpha]], who also was a nanotechnologic-based villain with father issues and a tendency to gradually change appearance.
** He could also be considered one to [[Film/MegaMonsterBattleUltraGalaxyLegends Ultraman Belial]]. Shall we count down the ways? A corrupted member of his species with a [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver red and black color scheme]] and a more hunched over stance. [[spoiler:His master plan involves the destruction of his homeworld]] and his biggest flaw is his Pride. [[spoiler:For bonus points, his gigantic OneWingedAngel form bears a passing resemblance to Arch Belial and fights against Way Big, who himself is a ShoutOut to Ultraman.]]
** Yet another similarity that can be found is [[Franchise/DCAnimatedUniverse Brainiac]], being TheChessmaster and being an evil alien with the ability to assimilate and control technology into his being. He shares a voice actor with him as well.

* EmoTeen: Appears to be one, given he doesn't care much for what's going on around him, and not even being defeated by No Watch Ben bothered him much. WordOfGod states that even turning into [[HotBlooded Rath]] wouldn't change his attitude.

* LargeHam: It's rare for him to be quiet.

* AdaptedOut: Not him but his android assistant Mazuma doesn't appear in the reboot.

* RubberForeheadAliens: If it wasn't for the grey skin, pointy ears, and antennae, he could pass off as a human

* TimeAbyss: If the quote says so, then he must've lived for thousands of years.

* GenericDoomsdayVillain: Bad Ben is easily the most generic out of all of the Evil Bens. He has no personality or motivation of note, he's evil simply just because. According to WordOfGod, while the other Evil Bens had some backstory written for them, there is nothing for Bad Ben.

* TheUndead: All his alien forms are this, according to WordOfGod. Ironically, the only aliens he was seen using (Frankenstrike and Snare-oh) are from species that are already undead-looking, so they don't look so different from their prime versions.
