centuries. Eventually he returned to finish what he'd started by menacing Angel Island, only to be thwarted several times by the Guardian Knuckles. He was eventually stripped of his power by Mogul using the Sword of Acorns, ending the third Enerjak's reign for good.

The fourth and final Enerjack was the very Guardian Knuckles himself. Manipulated into becoming Enerjack by the evil Dr. Finitevus, Enerjack would proceed to eliminate nearly all threats to Angel Island in a single day; he banished the Dingoes to Sandopolis, vaporised their leader General Kage Von Stryker with their city, stripped the Dark Legion of their cybernetic implants (which he deemed "impure"), and destroyed Dr. Eggman's Egg Fleet with little effort. However, his time as Enerjack came to an end when Sonic went into his Super Form and, while he was distracted fighting him, Knuckles' father Locke sacrificed his life to break the spell he was under, bringing an end to the fourth incarnation of Enerjak.

* SmugSnake: The Dimitri and Dark Mobius incarnations. The former shows that he is far more powerful than Knuckles, and only loses because he flat doesn't use his powers when fighting him. The latter is even more smug since he's had the entire planet to torment with nothing to stop him.
* UnskilledButStrong: A failing of the Dimitri and Dark Mobius incarnations:
** Wielding demigod powers at his minimum, Dimitri constantly underestimates his opponents, becomes extremely frustrated with those on his level that he can't simply steamroll over, (causing him to make careless mistakes), and doesn't know how to strategize. Not helping is the fact that prior to gaining his power, Dimitri was a scientist echidna, not a warrior, so he has no experience in actual fighting. Knuckles, who is a trained fighter, lands several good hits on him, and even points out to him; "All that power and I'm still surprised at what a glass jaw you have!" and; "You may be stronger, but do you even know how to fight?"
** When Silver fights the Dark Mobius incarnation, he matches him blow-for-blow in terms of raw power, and when he starts using strategy in conjunction, Enerjak can't adapt and ultimately loses.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: More Knuckles' incarnation than Dimitri's (though his Dark Mobius counterpart is more KnightTemplar)

Thanks to his status as a ''[[WesternAnimation/SonicSatAM SatAM]]'' character rather than a comic-original, he was one of the few (and so far only) major non-video game villains to make it past the reboot. In the new continuity, he's a troll, and Wendy Naugus's brother. His backstory in the new universe reveals that he's now part of a race of trolls that thrived on crystal power. But an unknown event wiped out most of his race and split his civilization into smaller islands. Attempts to revive his civilization were met with many setbacks either from Eggman or Sonic. When Eggman tested his Genesis Wave, he was caught between rifts and lost his powers. He has since then been trying to find a way to re-gain them.

As Anti-Sonic, he was this for a ''long'' time, as he liked to talk tough, but was ultimately nothing more than a ButtMonkey who was constantly pushed around by the other villains and got beat up easily by the heroes, to the extent a pre-CharacterDevelopment [[CheeseEatingSurrenderMonkeys Antoine]] once knocked him out cold. ''by accident''. Then, a dose of Chaos energy directly from the Master Emerald transformed him into Scourge, granting him several dozen levels of badass and making him one of the series' most powerful villains. He's still not on the level of Dr. Eggman or Finitevus, but he's definitely a credible solo threat these days; he's even managed to conquer all of Moebius by himself.

* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: He took over Moebius/Anti-Mobius by simply beating up various warlords across the planet, and the Anti-Freedom Fighters/Suppression Squad follow his lead largely because he ''beat'' them into submission.

* CloningBlues: More an evil AlternateSelf than Sonic's actual clone, but the basic principle is the same. In issue 172, Scourge taunts Sonic, boasting that the reason Sonic hates him so much is because he knows they're NotSoDifferent and all it would take is "one bad day" to make Sonic into him. Sonic turns it around by pointing out that all it would take is just a little kindness and selflessness to make Scourge just like ''him''; these words shock Scourge to his core, and lead him to embark on a quest to make himself more than just Sonic's EvilTwin, and Anti-Mobius more than just a MirrorUniverse.

* IControlMyMinionsThrough: Fear. Scourge controls the Suppression Squad and Destructix by beating them and making them terrified of him. In fact, this is how he controls most people he works with, as Jules-Prime notes. When confronted by someone who won't back down to his threats or let themselves be cowed by him, Scourge [[DirtyCoward folds like a lawn chair]].

* ReallyGetsAround: On top of being involved with Anti-Bunnie, Anti-Sally, Anti-Penelope, and Fiona, he briefly impersonated Sonic on Mobius just to flirt with the Prime versions of nearly every girl in Sonic's life.

* SmugSnake: Scourge is cocky and arrogant, and loves to talk a big game, but is mostly, if not entirely, dependent on fear to keep people in line.

He takes great delight in boasting about how he conquered Moebius, but even Fiona points out it's not very impressive since unlike Mobius Prime, his world isn't full of powerful villains and monsters, and his takeover amounted to simply beating up various warlords.

* FauxAffablyEvil: Particularly pronounced when she first defects to Scourge and Tails is tearfully begging her not to go. Fiona kneels down to him, gently tells him that for all of his smarts, he hasn't realized the most fundamental thing in life is that "you can't count on anybody"... before backhanding him with enough force to knock him off his feet, all with a gigantic smirk on her face.

* GoodScarsEvilScars: He has a very prominent scar down the left side of his face. In issue 156, Sonic even points out that it's one of the major clues that he's not the real Antoine; aside from the fact that the prime Antoine was never much of a fighter and lacked a killer instinct, no one, not even Bunnie, knew how he received the scar or could explain how.

* BreakTheHaughty: After being arrested by the Zone Cops and locked in Zone Jail, Scourge suffers this ''big time''. Left defenseless by a PowerNullifier collar, he's left at the bottom of the pecking order at the prison and subjected to constant beatings and abuse that leave him a bitter, scared, paranoid shadow of his former self. When Fiona allows herself to be arrested to save him, she's shocked at how far Scourge has fallen.

* {{Jerkass}}: Contrary to Sonic, who can sometimes be a jerk but is really nice deep down, Scourge seems to be nothing but pure egotism, spite, and cruelty. Hell, he managed to beat up SHADOW multiple times.

* NotSoHarmlessVillain: He was nothing but a ButtMonkey and hoodlum as Anti-Sonic. His transformation into Scourge gave him a chance to finally prove to Sonic and the other heroes just how dangerous he really is.

'''Monkey Khan''': Totally in agreement there!\\
'''Tails''': Yeah! Next time you should hit her again!

Added DiffLines:

* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Yes, they're the {{Evil Twin}}s of the Freedom Fighters, but their lives on Anti-Mobius were anything but pleasant, and they lack the happy families their counterparts possess. When reflecting on the time he spent on Anti-Mobius after Scourge forcibly swapped him with Patch, Antoine reflects that the Suppression Squad wasn't "so much mean as sad" and he actually [[SympathyForTheDevil pities them]].

Added DiffLines:

* MasterPoisoner: He poisoned both King Max and Antoine's father using a toxin native to his own dimension, with doctors on Mobius being unable to pinpoint the cause of their deteriorating health until after Patch was exposed. By the time they do, the damage is done; Max is left wheelchair-bound once again, and Armand, who was given much heavier doses thanks to Patch [[TamperingWithFoodAndDrink lacing his food with it]], ends up dying in the hospital.
* NearVillainVictory: He successfully impersonated his prime counterpart for an entire year, and came close to taking over the Kingdom of Acorn by poisoning King Max and marrying Sally. He ''only'' fails at the end because Elias [[SpannerInTheWorks decided to take the throne in place of his father]], and Patch's subsequent attempt to kill Elias leads to him being found out and Sonic booting him back to Moebius.
* OpportunisticBastard: Anti-Sonic got sick of Patch's repeated [[TheStarscream Starscream]] tendencies and banished him to Mobius Prime. Once there, Patch decided to use the situation to his advantage to seize power and take over the Kingdom of Acorn.

* FauxAffablyEvil: She's able to put up a polite act, and is often playful and flirty with Sonic, but behind it lies a CorruptCorporateExecutive who only cares about making profit even as the planet is cracked open. While Sonic and co. treat her as a FriendlyEnemy, it's made crystal clear that they know what Breezie is really like and do ''not'' trust her at all.

* FreudianExcuse: Her greed and desire to make as much profit as possible seems to stem from an impoverished childhood; [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/sonic/images/9/99/Young_Breezie_Photo.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150607150849 a photo]] of her as a child depicts her as dressed in rags, covered in dirt smudges, and living in a CardboardBoxHome.

* TheSociopath: Sports shades of this. In past, when Sonic points out how Tails' life and the whole world are at stake, she brushes him off, stating that her own life and well-being are more important. When the whole world is at the brink of falling apart, she is more concerned with making profit out of the whole situation. And when Honey calls her out, she smugly dismisses her. Needless to say, Honey attempts to maintain a calm appearance but once she leaves the office, she is visibly horrified at how uncaring and manipulative Breezie is. The fact she realized this ony after she signed DealWithTheDevil didn't help at all.

Patch. It's pretty disgusting when you realize that Scourge is only 15 years old.

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: In his last battle with Sonic, he taps into Anarchy Beryls, his universe equivalent to Chaos Emeralds, and goes super. He proves too powerful, even with both the Freedom Fighters, Suppression Squad, Rob O'the Hedge, and Silver working together, forcing Sonic to briefly retreat. However Sonic realizes something about his power and coax Scourge into depowering by appealing to his ego to beat him in a normal state. Scourge falls for it and finds himself too weak to move. Sonic then explains: Chaos Emeralds in his world give him a little boost when he comes out of it. But since this is an alternate/opposite world, Anarchy Beryls saps Scourge of his energy when he comes out of his super state.
