* ArbitrarySkepticism: Despite being a magic-eating shapeshifter from another dimension, Vee doesn't believe in aliens. When Luz calls her out on this, Vee comments that magic has proof of its existence, but aliens don't.

* AccidentalProposal: They wind up doing this with Vee by way of giving her their old earrings, as on the Boiling Isles, couples show that they're going steady by gifting a piece of their jewelry to their partner. They even lampshade this trope, with Vee saying they can't take it back.
* OnlySaneMan: Among the trio of themself, Vee, and Luz, they're only one to think that maybe they shouldn't spy on Camila's date while the other two just stare in confusion at the very notion.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: Nonbinary example. Upon hearing about how Jacob almost dissected Vee, they nearly go after him. They're only talked down when Camilla points out that they'd get arrested for assault (and also when Camilla promises to provide an alibi if they want to wait to do it later).

Gravesfield's local conspiracy theorist, who unfortunately stumbled onto Vee and the Noceda family's connection to real magic and demons, and has been an annoyance to them since.

* BullyingADragon: He tries to go after Lucifer even after hearing that he's the ''King of Hell'' and sees him casually fry his phone. He doesn't even manage to get to him and Camila before Loona intervenes. And even before that, he thinks that he can force said King of Hell and a demonic assassin to let him ''dissect'' them simply by using recorded evidence.
* HatedByAll: Besides the Nocedas and Masha rightfully hating him for what he tried to do to Vee, no one in town seems to actually ''like'' him because he's an obnoxious, self-righteous ConspiracyTheorist who's harassed the Nocedas for years.

A human witch and Camila's daughter, who studies at the University of Wild Magic.

* BigSisterInstinct: She adores and is very protective of her adoptive sister, Vee. A major reason for her hatred towards Jacob Hopkins is because he tried to dissect Vee years back. As she puts it:

* CrazyPrepared: Living on the Boiling Isles has trained her to prepare for '''every''' possibility that she can think of. This comes into play for Camila's second date with "Lucius Magne", with Luz, Vee, and Masha coming up for plans if he's a vampire, a werewolf, an alien, in the Illuminati, or a demon.
* EvenTheLovingHeroHasHatedOnes: She's one of the nicest people you'll meet and treats everyone fairly, but she absolutely '''loathes''' Jacob Hopkins. Considering he tried to dissect Vee in the past, coupled with him having harassed her family for years and attacked her mother with a knife, that hatred is ''very'' justified.
* ExtremelyProtectiveChild: She very much thinks the world of her mother, Camila, and will do anything to help protect her. The main reason why she spies on her mother's date with Lucius is to make sure he's not gonna hurt her, and she almost pummels Jacob Hopkins just for being near her mother (which is understandable given how often he'd harassed the Nocedas over the years).
* {{Foil}}: To Charlie. Though similarly an AllLovingHeroine, Luz has completed her own story and CharacterDevelopment. While her relationship with her mother was tumultuous in the past due to misunderstandings, they've long since mended their issues, with her learning about Camila's reignited love life at a good time and with proper support. As a result, she's initially far more supportive of Camila and Lucius/Lucifer's romance, despite having concerns of her own. Unfortunately, her ability to learn more about her mother's boyfriend and him obviously not being normal is causing her own doubts to develop.
* HereditaryHomosexuality: She's bisexual, and as revealed in Chapter 16, so is her mother.
* TransparentCloset: Though she initially hid her sexuality from her mother, Camila notes that she knew Luz was bi long before her [=PowerPoint=] presentation where she came out, mainly due to her and Amity's SickeninglySweethearts behavior. Camile simply pretended not to know until Luz was ready to tell her herself, not wanting Luz to have a repeat of her own experience.

* ThreePointLanding: She makes a point of doing this as often as possible because of how much Luz enjoys watching her doing it. Though it gets deconstructed a bit, as she notes how hard it is on her knees and back.

* FantasticRacism: Downplayed. Hunter privately admits that he (and the rest of the Hexsquad) are developing a far more negative view of Humanity (aside from Luz, Camila and Masha), the more they learn about Luz's previous [[AllTheOtherReindeer social life]]. Nothing that crosses into outright bigotry, but it is clear that they are beginning to view their human friends as the exception rather than the rule.
* LikeBrotherAndSister: This is his dynamic with Luz, as he cares for, yet gets annoyed by her, in very much the same manner as you'd expect an older brother to. In Chapter 12, his POV shows that he even thinks of Luz as his sister in all but blood.

* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: They desperately beg for something, ''anything'', to get them out of the obnoxious council meeting in Chapter 20. Cue Eda storming the place to kidnap them for a date.
* HappilyMarried: By the time the story starts, they've long since gotten married to Eda. While exasperated by her...less than legal antics, it's made clear that they absolutely adore their wife.
* JustTheFirstCitizen: Inverted, in that they're granted the title of Sovereign after being elected leader of the new Boiling Isles government, but they work very hard to ''not'' be more than just a first among equals.
* SurroundedByIdiots: Is exasperated by the constant arguments that arise during council meetings, especially since accusations of slipping back to Belos' days of tyranny are brought up over refusing to ''change the flag''. Again.

Formerly the most wanted criminal on the Boiling Isles, now the Headmistress of the University of Wild magic, as well as Luz's mentor.

* BecameTheirOwnAntithesis: PlayedForLaughs. She went from a rebel against authority who scorned the education system to a (mostly) responsible adult who runs her own school. Naturally, she bemoans how her child self would react to who she became.
* HappilyMarried: In the years since Belos' fall, she's gotten married to Raine Whispers, and the two live a blissful, happy life together.
* TheHedonist: She self-admits that this is what resignation towards her curse turned her into. It was only after she adopted King and later picked up Luz as an apprentice that she began to see beyond her own shallow self-interest again.
* LikesOlderMen: She admits that as far as her taste in men goes, she's got a thing for those many years her senior. She even references one such example with her short-lived marriage to [[WesternAnimation/GravityFalls Stan Pines]].

* LadyInAPowerSuit: During Chapter 3, she wears a notably form-fitting smart suit during Charlie's coronation, helping signify her position as the princess's protector and closest confidant.

* LeaveTheLovebirdsAlone: Subtly does this with Octavia so Blitz and Stolas have a chance to talk things out.

* OneNoteCook: While a good cook, that's only in regard to food from Hell, and food from ''Earth'' is another thing entirely. As a result, he can't make a picnic lunch for Camila on his own without risking her having some kind of negative reaction to the infernal foodstuffs, and he considers taking a human cooking class.

* EveryoneHasStandards: He's both ''horrified'' and ''enraged'' at the fact that [[MurderInc I.M.P]] essentially work as assassins' for hire that take commission from the sinners in hell in order to kill human beings. His horror is portrayed as being firmly of the moral kind instead of purely pragmatic, as he's utterly disgusted that [[AssholeVictim the Sinners]] are able to use I.M.P's services in order to kill people with impunity. Chapter 5 also shows that he's not very fond of the classism amongst Hellborn perpetuated by the Goetia.

** He loves his daughter more than anything, even lying to Lucifer about her involvement in IMP's business in the hope that he'd spare her.

* TheUnintelligible: Razzle and Dazzle rather fittingly can only speak in baas, but perhaps more bafflingly, "baa" is the only word that Dazzle seems to be able to write as well as seen with his report on Lucifer's second date with Camilla.

* BigSisterWorship: They're [=POV=]s show that they refer to Charlie as "Big Sis", and they're both highly devoted to her.

* SelfServingMemory: When recounting how he ended up working at the Hotel, he presents as gallantly riding in on a steed and getting the job handed to him by a fangirling Charlie. Loona the clarifies that he actually threw himself at Charlie's feet and begged for a job to avoid homelessness.

* WackyParentSeriousChild: She's the serious child to Blitz' wacky parent, often having to play TheStraightMan and keep him from being so...well, ''[[Cloudcuckoolander Blitz]]''.

* StrongerThanTheyLook: They look like tiny, cute little flying goats, but not only can they turn into building-sized dragons, they're also immensely strong outside of that. During Chapter 19, when moving IMP's equipment out of the building, they were notably carrying massive loads that even an entire team of strongmen would've barely managed to move. And all without any apparent effort either.
