* FamilyOfChoice: In one way or another, Mankai Company and its staff becomes a second home to many of these actors.

The player character. Her default first name is Izumi, though it can be changed. After receiving an invitation to Mankai Theater, she decides to go there to find out about the whereabouts of her father, who disappeared six years earlier. Under certain circumstances, she becomes the new director of Mankai Company in order to save it.

* AlmightyJanitor: She's got help from Matsukawa, and Sakyo runs the money side of the business, but she basically runs Mankai all by herself.
* AnimalMotifs: In the ''Mankai Animals'' event, she's a lion a.k.a "the king of animals." It ties into her role as the director of Mankai Company.

* LegacyCharacter: Her father, Yukio, was the former director of the Mankai Company. She invokes this when attempting to get Sakyo to back off on seizing the theatre.

* ReunionVow: [[spoiler:In the official AU 'Mankai Apartments', Sakyo's ''Frugal Real Estate Agent'' card, a young Izumi was deeply saddened at the fact that she would have to leave the Mankai Apartment where Sakyo lived. She promised to become the owner of the building, and Sakyo promised to become an actor that lived as a resident so that they could one day reunite.]]
* SmurfettePrinciple: As Mankai is traditionally an all-men company, she is the only female there.

* TaughtByExperience: Her time and knowledge gained from her previous acting company helps her with coaching and training the actors in the reborn Mankai Company.

* TeamPet: The pet and mascot of the theatre.

A tall, quiet man who is in charge of creating props for and the sets for Mankai Company's productions.

* CoolBigBro: He gets along well with Azami, and looks out for him, being the person to suggest Azami to take sanctuary at the Mankai dormitory. Ken usually calms Azami down when he becomes frustrated by Sakyo, or his father. [[spoiler: He's also the one that stands up for Azami and his dreams against Azami's father.]]

Mankai's sound technician and Matsukawa's junior, debuts in Act 11.

A group of people asked to work with the Mankai Theatre. They serve as extra actors for the troupes. They are:

* NiceGuy: Despite being a yakuza member, and looking the part, Ichiro is one of the most pleasant side characters, frequently polite to Izumi and friendly to the Mankai actors.

The president and director of the God Troupe, one of the most profitable theaters in Veludo Way. He is a man that has a mysterious connection with Yukio Tachibana which has influenced his current hatred of the Mankai Company.

* {{Archnemesis}}: To Mankai Company, especially in the later half of Part 1 of the main story. Reni is especially antagonistic towards Izumi, as he had a great grudge on her DisappearedDad and wants Mankai Company and the Tachibanas out of the picture at all costs because of it.

* ForgivenButNotForgotten: [[spoiler:Izumi stated that she cannot overlook the pain that Reni inflicted upon the Mankai Company, especially Tsumugi and Taichi, but she wants to help Reni atone for his past actions. And the best way to do that is to work directly with him rather than push him away.]]

* ManipulativeBastard: [[spoiler:He sent Taichi as TheMole to sabotage Mankai Company's performance. He even considered Taichi as an expendable pawn and threatened him.]]

* PetTheDog: For all his vitriol against Mankai company, he does give actual, genuine advice to Guy when he asked for a way to improve his acting during the "Die By The Sword" event. He also showed up to watch the show after given a ticket by Guy.
* TookALevelInKindness: He has considerably warmed up to Mankai company by Act 3. [[spoiler: He starts to formally take steps to atone for his actions, and agrees to help Izumi and the Mankai Company work their way towards a nomination for the Fleur Awards. ]]

The top actor of the God Troupe. A proud and haughty actor that deeply admires Reni, and looks down upon the Mankai Company. In spite of his caustic nature, he may not be as bad as a person as he appears to be...

* EveryoneHasStandards: In Tag Match Halloween '18, [[spoiler:He was livid, [[{{Understatement}} to put it lightly]], when he saw a participating actor who was defeated by Mankai Company earlier, steal the team's candy without a fight as revenge for his loss. He proceeded to berate said actor, slipping into a country like accent as he did so. For all his condescending interactions with Mankai company and his desperation to keep his position in God Troupe right at that moment, he'd rather win his fight with his rivals in a fair fight rather than foul play. [[PetTheDog And also to thank Yuki in his own way for fixing his costume early in the event story]]]].

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: His first comment about ''Romeo and Julius'''s street act is to call it a shoddy story and is condescending to Mankai Company actors in general. [[spoiler: With the tension disappearing between the God Troupe and Mankai Company, Haruto firmly develops the "Heart of Gold" part. He has a harsh way of speaking and is unafraid to speak his mind, but he loses his malicious edge. ]]
* NotSoDifferentRemark: [[spoiler:With Tsumugi and Taichi, the two Mankai Company members that are connected with the God Troupe and Tasuku. In the past, he felt personally slighted at the fact that Tasuku was not only a natural at acting, but that he was hard-working as well. Haruto felt a rift of difference between the man he considered was born and equipped with all the necessary traits of a great actor, and himself, someone who started from nothing to achieve a semblance of what a "real" actor is like. In the present, he still considers Tasuku his main rival which is reciprocated by the latter.]]

* SoreLoser: Can be seen in the few events that he appears in where he loses against Mankai company.

! Past Mankai

Leader of the past Mankai Spring Troupe. He is currently the editor-in-chief for a magazine, SPOTLIGHT, and a father to a set of triplet daughters.

* CrosscastRole: He performed as Juliet in the past Mankai's ''Romeo and Juliet''.

* TheMourningAfter: [[spoiler:After Kasumi left the Mankai Company, his wife became the reason why he persevered in an unfamiliar and difficult work environment. When Kasumi's wife died from an illness, he was emotionally shattered and struggled with suicidal thoughts. Even now, Kasumi views her as his only love. ]]
* OneDegreeOfSeparation: In the past, he has edited a magazine that starred some of the current Mankai Company actors.

A former member of the first generation's Spring Troupe. After the original generation's disbandment, he becomes an actor at a different company and a teacher at a theater school. He is an associate of the current Mankai Company, and is known for his harsh, but reliable critique.

Leader of the past Mankai Summer Troupe. He is a veteran actor with experience in television and films. He is still currently active as an actor, albeit not on stage, and is a father to a son.

* AndThenWhat: In the past, he wanted to achieve his childhood dream of acting as a hero on television. After achieving his dream, he realized he did not know what to do next. In swoops Yukio whom offered him a place in the Mankai Company, and later becoming Hiro's real hero.

Leader of the past Mankai Autumn Troupe. He is the owner of a dinner theater called "Gentiana."

Leader of the past Mankai Winter Troupe. He grew up with a family that specializes in Taishu engeki. He is currently the leader of another theater troupe.

! Friends and Family of the Mankai Company

The previous director of Mankai company and Izumi's father. His disappearance drove the start of the plot.

* DaddyHadAGoodReasonForAbandoningYou: Izumi is older than most examples, being around fifteen when her father left, but he still left with no explanation. Due to the lack of communication, Izumi had resigned herself to believe that her father might have been dead. Turns out in Episode 10 Chapter 8 of the Main Story [[spoiler: Yuzo revealed that Yukio was blacklisted from the entire theater industry by the Fleur Awards in Japan. He is alive, but working overseas. The circumstances that lead him to a vow of secrecy involved Madoka and Misumi's father, Kusumi, and their grandfather, Hakkaku. Kusumi was accused of plagiarizing his scripts, but Hakkaku begged Yukio not to make the scandal public. But the case leaked and the Fleur Award trustees wanted to blacklist the Mankai Company. Yukio compromised that he would shoulder the responsibility and forbid himself from any involvement regarding the Mankai Company. In return, the Fleur Awards would be open to nominating the Mankai Company.]]

* YoungestChildWins: [[spoiler:Navel and Orange are disqualified from the throne after their attempt to kidnap and dethrone Citron is revealed by Tangerine. The King of Zafra is impressed by Tangerine's leadership qualities in evacuating the citizens during a theater fire planned by Orange's henchman and his sense of justice. After the King realized the love Citron held for the Mankai Company, he deferred the crown to Tangerine.]]

* IceQueen: Cold and rarely smiles. Deconstructed as this sparked [[PoorCommunicationKills a misunderstanding]] between her and Homare that is the focus in ''My Master's Mesmerized by Mystery''. But as cold as Miyako can be, she certainly has a HiddenHeartOfGold. If anything, according to the 3rd anniversary book, her favorite Mankai actor is [[TheCutie Sakuya]].

** In addition, as B's Log 2018 magazine and Homare's [Mankai Memory] backstage reveal, Homare used to think that she disliked him because of her generally cold attitude.
