* Ignoring the fact that every show of both the ''Series/EurovisionSongContest'' and its junior equivalent has a quick blast of the prelude to Marc-Antoine Charpentier's ''Te Deum'', on three occasions - 1975, 1976 and 1984 - the winner was the first song to perform, and the show ends with a reprise of the winning entry.[[note]]The winner of each semifinal is only announced after the final, so the second semifinal in 2018 - won by the first song to perform - was not reprised at the end.[[/note]] In addition to this, the first song in 1958 was performed again (a technical error meant that it wasn't heard in all countries) and the first song in 2006's semifinal qualified and was the last song to perform in the final. This has yet to happen in the junior version.
