** The second night, the Frisians try to [[IncendiaryExponent set the door on fire]]. Just when the Normans risk being overwhelmed, Chrysagon orders Bors to unleash the nervous horses on them, making a number of Frisians fall into the moat, then orders his men to pour oil on the drawbridge. The fire then expands, [[ManOnFire turning several Frisians into human torches]] and [[BrokenBridge destroying the drawbridge]], thus sealing the tower.

** The first night of the siege, Chrysagon spots Frisians sneaking and trying to sabotage the drawbridge. He kills one of them with a [[JavelinThrower spear throw]] from the top of the tower, rings the alarm bell and goes nearly FullFrontalAssault on the Frisians wearing just a {{loincloth}}, throwing several of them in the moat and blinding one with a torch. Then Bors and his soldiers shield his retreat while killing a few more frisians with thrown spears. The drawbridge gets permanently opened, but now the Normans know they are being besieged.
