** It's been more than 20 years since Lord Zedd was around but everyone [[FearlessFool except Ollie]] ([[TemptingFate who boasts early in the episode that he's not afraid of anything]]) spends the episode absolutely ''[[TheDreaded terrified]]'' of him. And for good reason. He throws around Void Knight like a ragdoll, and ''demolishes'' two monsters simultaneously (one of whom had previously broken the Dino Fury Megazord). With four of the Rangers captured, Solon teleports Ollie to safety against his will, just to keep him safe. Ollie wass the only Ranger who dared to ask, "How do we beat this guy?" while everyone else was simply asking, "How do we ''survive'' this guy?" Ultimately, Reaghoul is forced to point Zedd at someone else (Brineblast and Wolfgang) so that he and Mucus could teleport away. When SetAMookToKillAMook doesn't work, everyone on the battlefield has to make a hasty alliance, just so they don't get annihilated. Keep in mind, this is against a Lord Zedd who's still a degree of foggy from Reaghoul's mind-control, who doesn't have his staff or much of his magic, and who has no idea who he's fighting. And the best they can manage against him is a stalemate!

** This Lord Zedd doesn't come with his famous staff; not like he needed it to trounce everyone including all five Power Rangers at once!

* A meta example: In a continuation from the trend ''Beast Morphers'' set up, it is revealed that J-Borg was created from Hartford Robotics, as in Andrew Hartford from ''Operation Overdrive''. Even if some people consider it the bottom of the barrel in terms of Power Ranger seasons, it is still good of Hasbro to acknowledge it and build more of the Ranger lore.

** Retrospectively, this counts as a good meta example for Hasbro's use of footage. The Dino Fury Megazord Warrior Formation's ''Ryusoulger'' counterpart appeared in Episode 6 and only afterwards did the Blade and Hammer Formations get their proper debuts. But with the shuffling of episodes, they managed to give the different Megazord Formations a chance to shine in proper fights before introducing Warrior Formation, making it feel like a proper step in expanding the powers.

* In a meta moment, Power Rangers has its first official LGBTQ ranger in the series with Izzy with the episode ending with her and her formal rival Fern holding hands and walking off on a date and the other Power Rangers happy to see them together. While the movie and comics have had LGBTQ characters, this is the first time that this happened in the main show.
** As the episode ends and the rangers see them head off, it's notable that they could've just have [[FishOutOfTemporalWater Zayto]] question what's going on and why two women were dating. Instead, he's just as excited to see Izzy going off on her date.
* Even earlier, when Javi pulls Fern aside to try and set up Izzy with Adrian, the way he phrases things initially makes Fern think Javi's asking her out. Fern immediately tells him she doesn't date boys, and Javi tells her that's fine without batting an eye.

* On August 28, 2022, it was revealed that the 30th anniversary series, ''Cosmic Fury'', would continue the adventures of the Dino Fury team, a stunt that hadn't been done since the transition from ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'' to ''Series/PowerRangersZeo''. Many fans were excited as they had came to enjoy the Dino Fury team and would have been sad to leave such a unique team so soon.

* The villain's plan is this. Trick the rangers into bringing a bomb into their base, activated by a card that knocks out communications and teleportation, trapping them with it. And this was Mucus' idea!
