* Midorang keeps getting new powers. Next is the Territory Quirk, basically an organic [[Franchise/SpiderMan web-shooter]].

* Graffiti shows he's not a one-trick pony when it comes to using his Quirk. If he can't turn his victims into chalk art, he'll make some of his own and [[ArtImitatesLife bring it to life.]]

* The two friends manage to pull of an epic win, Dynamite keeping All Might's attention while Midorang throws out a Rising Sun Smash with as much of One For All as he can handle. All Might is so strong it merely disorients him, but that's still enough of an opening for Dynamite to slap the capture cuffs on him.

* Tenya vs Mei. Having been warned of Mei's scheme earlier by Mayumi, Tenya spurs Mei to show off her support gear in a genuine fight, rather than turn the battle into a glorified showroom. When Mei does so, she actually comes within inches of beating Tenya. He barely manages to maintain enough to momentum to knock Mei out of the ring.

* Odion proves to a powerhouse, beating both All Might and Regenizard during the course of the tournament. No easy feat even this early in their careers.

* A minor case, but it turns in this universe Rei was a hero right alongside Enji. They even teamed up with another hero called Spinnerette.

* While Yuno and Yuki are able to get a lot of bombs, some still go off. Thankfully, Yuki is the only caught in the blast, and he's tough enough to survive it multiple times.

* Sheep is Quirkless, and is staring down four Quirked humans, three of which can easily clean his clock. He still manages to escape with a barrage of smoke bombs.

* Surprisingly, we get two League recruits in this episode. Gear Woman is a former yakuza member who can liquify her body, and while in that state she can control any machine. She largely does this with a combat robot specced to resemble her body. As for the yakuza family she comes from? It's none other than the Shie Hassakai, since it's revealed she's both Overhaul's adopted cousin and Eri's mother!

* Infinite shows he's just as smart as Izuku when he hears about a yakuza family distributing a Quirk-enhancing drug through Marshall, Carter, and Dark and immediately suspects the Shie Hassakai. Giran confirms he's right on the money.

* Nezu admits to having deliberately hooked up Class 1-A with hero agencies investigating the Shie Hassakai, though not with the intention of sending them directly after Overhaul, just his network. Though both he and Aizawa are certain Izuku at least could take on Overhaul and win.

* Points for Jackie using her Quirk to outwit Nemoto. Because of that, Vector and Infinite are able to lie to his face about possibly betraying the Shie Hassakai.

* Eri even accuses Overhaul of betraying her grandpa (who keep in mind Overhaul still sees as a surrogate father). The very idea of it sends Overhaul into a rage, insisting that he was only doing what was best for both the oyabun and the Shie Hassakai.

* Oyabun Kaito wastes no time [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech verbally tearing into Overhaul when he wakes up.]] It becomes clear real quick why he's the true boss of the Shie Hassakai.

* The villain Octagon, a former member of the Shie Hassakai and the first villain Reaper gave an Underworld too, managed to trap Tropicana by committing suicide in such a way as to bury his name so that Tropicana couldn't save the people of his town from the Underworld's influence. Considering Octagon is a follower of Overhaul, that shows dedication to his boss (it's established that all the previous heroes were investigating the villain groups the Underworld Monarchs were a part of).

* When the gang gets blocked on the stairs, Melissa notes the nearby security door leads to an open area. Minoru figures that's the better option since they'll be facing villains either way, but an indoor forest is a better option for combat due to being more open and having better cover options.

* We learn that Sam is not just some random assistant looking for a bigger pay cut. He's actually a secret mobster working for the long defunct Chicago Spirit, which his planning of the I-Island invasion make more sense.

* During an earlier chapter Midnight notes that she handed off a case she was on to Vlad King due to information from Foresight. In this chapter Kurogiri confirms Vlad King's missions was a success (we later learn he was tracking down Himiko Toga).

* While speed is not really his specialty, Izuku proves to be able to match Tenya during their fight, both of them moving fast the stadium needs to rely on high-speed cameras just to keep up. It ultimately ends with Izuku's Chuo Smash colliding with Tenya's Recipro Burst.

* Nezu lays out to Toshi all the various facets of Izuku's Regeneration Quirk, making it clear just how impossible to kill the kid seems. Toshi realizes that Izuku's body is perfect for awakening all the Quirks attached to One For All.

* During the mock battles, Katsuki gives Tenya a run-down on just how powerful Izuku's Regeneration is, then states that Tenya is no match for him before going off to try and hold Izuku on the floors.

* It turns out that in this universe, Soldier Boy was captured by the Chaos Insurgency, rather than Russian forces. And they used to reverse-engineer Compound V, which is how they made their Special Task Group.

* We see something interesting with Translucent. It turns out super-abled humans can evolve into Quirked humans by burning out the Compound V in their bodies naturally, rather than having it removed either via nuclear radiation or the Antidote V. Translucent's new Quirk is given the name Carbon Coating.

* Hughie of all people performs a curb stomp on the TNT Twins.

* Credit to Edgar, he knows when he's losing and starts to make plans to pull away his company from superhero franchises.

* And Homelander being able to survive any weapon known to man means nothing when his opponent doesn't even plan on killing him, and is strong enough that he doesn't even need to bother. Once Midorang points out that Homelander tried to kill a popular hero [[EngineeredPublicConfession on live TV]], he smacks around Homelander like a ragdoll before laying him out.

* Once Trumpet uses his Quirk to power up the Deika City citizens, Infinite breaks off from Re-Destro to being a FalseFlagOperation. And it's an effective one, leading the MLA soldiers into an alley where there are no cameras and then having Infinite use his Quirk to disguise the League of Villains as the Heights Alliance. While the people see the change, the news feed doesn't. Thus the citizens are tricked into fighting the ''real'' Heights Alliance on camera, getting them labeled as rioters before they even realize the ruse.

* In this reality Kuon Ichinose is replaced as a confidant for the group by Akira Konoe, aka Kamen Rider Zephyr. Yes, it turns out the legacy of both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider exist in this universe, and have been going on for decades past the current seasons.

* When Skeptic goes out to try and handle the situation directly, he gets shocked by the arrival of the Combined Combatant. And not only is it stronger than the one fought by the Gokaiger centuries ago due to having a few more Combatants to work with, but it's also more ''competent'' due to avoiding the in-fighting that left the last Combined Combatant wide open. Skeptic is so distracted trying to call for backup, and learning that's been outed as an MLA member, that he gets impaled and ultimately killed.

* Twice takes it further, using Sad Man's Parade to multiply the Combatants (who are in-universe [[CompositeCharacter Composite Characters]] with the combined memories of strength of their entire species) into the massive groups familiar to Super Sentai fans.

* It's pretty awesome to the League of Villains, of all people, give a Plus Ultra, a saying normally attributed to All Might and heroes in general.
