* Shao Kahn shows his cunning more than any other game in the original series: after so many crippling losses against the forces of Earthrealm, he was relegated to a heavily weakened state, yet he was still CrazyPrepared for Shang Tsung and Quan Chi to betray and kill him that he sent [[ActuallyADoombot a clone of himself]] in his stead, while he himself laid low to work his way back up to becoming emperor of Outworld once again, with nothing but the help of a rejuvenated Goro. In his Arcade ending, the two of them kill Onaga with relative ease, claim Outworld almost immediately thereafter, and plow down the rest of Kitana's army and the Tarkatan horde - and while this ending is non-canon, Kahn would still rise back up from defeat in [[VideoGame/MortalKombatArmageddon the next installment]], becoming the ultimate victor of Armageddon.

* In Ermac's ending, he single-handedly takes on Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax, Kitana, and Kung Lao with no trouble at all. Even better? It turns out to be canon.

* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvVtoVSzkJw The intro scene]]. Onaga, the Dragon King, comes barging in on Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, and Raiden, after the former two took out the latter and Quan bitchslapped Shang afterwards. He takes a full-on assault from the three without flinching, prompting Raiden to self-destruct in a last-ditch effort to take him down. When the dust settles, there is Onaga, ''completely unscathed'', holding Shinnok's amulet.
