* During the 1989 Halloween Havoc, The Great Muta was scheduled to tag with Wrestling/TerryFunk against Wrestling/RicFlair and Wrestling/{{Sting}} in an "electrified cage match". Before the match started, the electricity accidentally set a prop on fire. Mutoh, thinking quickly, jumped on the cage and used his mist gimmick to put out the fire before it could spread. Everyone then resumed the show like nothing had happened.
