* "Awakening, Part 2" - YMMV as always on if this goes into WhatDoYouMeanItsNotAwesome, but the moment where the gargoyles awaken from their 1000-year sleep in Manhattan. As a Youtube comment put it; "most epic yawn ever."
* This troper just rewatched the DisneyXD brodcast of "Posession", and ''hooo'' '''''boy''''', does it '''''ever''''' have a slew of CMOA's for characters, especially ones who normally don't receive one (I.E. ''[[spoiler:Lexington's rather epic XanatosGambit at the end]]'', the fact that Xanatos's still-infant child finally TookALevelInBadass, to a ridiculous extreme, Coldstone's (as well as the other {{Cyborg}} gargoyle's alliances drawn permanently), and Puck going from [[ChaoticNeutral chaotic]] to [[TrueNeutral true]] neutral at the end, [[spoiler: actually helping the FiveManBand out for a change]] is rather epic.

** This episode also had another one; when the gargoyles are on their way to rescue Talon you already know that there's going to be an awesome action scene. But what you don't expect is the combat-ready main cast of gargoyles bust into the bad guy's lair from the ceiling tiles, all of them looking extremely bad ass.

** The entirety of "Eye Of The Beholder" deserves a mention in Xanatos [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome Crowning Moments Of Awesome]]. The most romantic ''un''-romantic marriage proposal ever, Going through plans A, B, C, and D, throwing all his efforts behind finding and helping the werewolf'd up Fox, all while doing his best [[HiddenHeartOfGold not to let on just how much he cares for her]] until it becomes an asset, rather than a liability. Someone give that millionaire a medal. Or a hug. Or both!
** Xanatos has a [=CMOA=] in "The Cage" when he double whammies Talon for almost turning him into a [[AntagonistInMourning bored and sad villain]] by killing his [[FoeYay one and only]] ArchEnemy, Goliath: he shoots the floor when Talon tries to attack him and boasts at him, "He's the scientist, you're just the experiment".
** Xanatos' best CrowningMomentOfAwesome has probably got to be in the episode "The Gathering" Part One. In their first confrontation, Oberon complements Xanatos on fighting to keep his son against 'impossible odds.' Xanatos' response? An angry yell as he punches the gargoyle dog pinning him down and ''sends it flying'', all so he can try and charge Oberon again. His {{Papa Wolf}} moment is cut short however as Oberon immediately turns him to glass.

* Broadway has always been this troper's favorite Gargoyle, but his CrowningMomentOfAwesome occurs any time he sees someone use a gun after the episode where [[spoiler: he shoots Elisa, accidentally]].

** An Elisa [=CMOA=] may be when she admits (despite all of the above) that she erred in leaving her service weapon [[WhatAnIdiot in its holster]] ''[[WhatAnIdiot hanging on a stand in another room]]'' and will be more safe with it in the future.
*** A CrowningMomentOfAwesome for the show as well since she does in all episodes afterwards.

* Many consider the CrowningMomentOfAwesome of the whole series is the last two minutes of the last episode of season 2, "Hunter's Moon", when Elisa jumped up to Goliath and kissed him on the lips.

* I know, I know - [[FanonDisContinuity we're not supposed to talk about the Goliath Chronicles]] - but the last episode, in which the gargoyles save a train full of people (including the police chief) and finally gain the acceptance of the New Yorkers? ''Awesome''.

** Titania's CrowningMomentOfAwesome is definatly the following exchange:

* "The Hound of Ulster" gives one to Bronx, with his attack on the Banshee's {{One Winged Angel}} form. Eventually he gets a death grip on her nostrils and forces her to open her mouth, leaving her vulnerable to a magic spear attack.

* Vinnie in "Vendettas." While it was a {{Big Lipped Alligator Moment}} and a {{Breather Episode}}, Vinnie definitely got his crowning moment here. He buys a {{BFG}}, hauls it halfway across the city, gets in a variety of unfortunate mishaps, and all to [[spoiler: shoot Goliath in the face with a banana cream pie to get revenge for the ways that the gargoyles affected his life, though they weren't aware of it]]. Sure, it may not sound like much, but remember--he's the only one to ever swear revenge on Goliath and then succeed in carrying it out. Not only that, but the episode shows that he can be quite a [[TheDeterminator determinator]] when he wants to be.

* After seeing the StableTimeLoop in "Vows" that shows how Xanatos used one antique coin to start his fortune, Xanatos' father Petros gets one of the most awesome {{The Reason You Suck Speech}}es anywhere and the only one in the series that really seems to get through to Xanatos and make him doubt his values and methods rather than smugly dismiss his critic.

* A special mention goes to the end of "The Gathering" where Oberon and Titania have defeated or immobilized all of the good guys, and as he's about to take baby Alex, [[spoiler: Fox taps into her limited magical abilities and blasts Oberon through the wall, and saving her baby.]]

* Lexington's [[spoiler: creepy turn as villain in the AllJustADream episode "Future Tense". "Sorry about that!"]]

** Similarly, in "High Noon" she goes to face Demona, Macbeth, ''and'' Coldstone, in spite of being exhausted and having recently suffered a head injury, in order to protect the gargoyles - and succeeds.
* Here's a [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttB3neLvNCo collection]] of Xanatos' own moments. There's a ''reason'' we named not just a [[XanatosGambit a trope]], but an entire ''[[XanatosPlannedThisIndex index]]'' of tropes after him.

** Arguably, one of his definitive moments is in the very first episode - where he travels to the UK, disassembles an entire castle, transports it across the ocean, and mounts it atop the biggest skyscraper in the world (so tall it ''reaches above the clouds''). Why? ''Because he's David Xanatos, and he freaking can.''

** Xanatos' best CrowningMomentOfAwesome has probably got to be in the episode "The Gathering" part one. ** In that same episode, Elisa gets one of her own, when she frees Goliath from the spell despite there being no way to break it: "All right, big guy. I'm holding the spell. I want you to act for the rest of your life exactly as you would if you were not under a spell."

* There's also Oberon's assault on Xanatos Enterprises, where he stands up against the combined resources of the gargoyles, Xanatos, his father, Fox, Renard and Puck. He throws out every bad guy battle line in the book, and makes every one of them cool.
