* In the "Friends are There" intro from the first 2 seasons of the show, Wade is one of the U.S. Acres characters fighting for screentime with Garfield, and he looks ''determined''. Considering this is the same duck who has stage fright and many, many other phobias, this is huge for him, and it happened every week.

* Roy's rant at the end of "Big Bad Buddy Bird" after having to put up with the Buddy Bears' TheComplainerIsAlwaysWrong mindset (and getting a safe dropped on him multiple times) throughout the episode. It's also a [[SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped vital lesson]] that it's ''okay'' to disagree with people, especially when they're preaching dangerous messages.

-->'''Roy''': Kids, don't listen to any of this. These bears are dangerous. You should have opinions of your own! You should think and decide and not do what everyone else does! ''(the bears grab him)'' Use your own mind! Don't do what your friends do just because they're doing it, HAVE A BRAIN OF YOUR OWN! LET GO OF ME! THE GROUP ISN'T ALWAYS RIGHT!
** Which was likely Mark Evanier showing his opinions on the matter-- he'd previously worked on several shows like ''The Get-Along Gang'' that had said aesop, and he ''hated it''.

* Jon even has this moment where is mostly a ButtMonkey, but he tricks ''does'' get one up on Garfield to force him to apologize to in "Moo Cow Mutt." Garfield plays a nasty prank on Odie for tricking Odie for being by making the pup think he is a cow.cow. Jon catches on and gets revenge by hiding the kitchen appliances (including all of the food!) and pretending that he's going to use Odie's status as a "cow-dog" to make a fortune. A horrified Garfield immediately undoes his prank, and Jon gets the last laugh by telling him that he was outtricked.
