* The episode "Bentley "[[Recap/FiremanSamS3E9 Bentley the Robot" Robot]]" has Sam's latest invention, Bentley, save Penny from fire which was accidentally caused by him after Norman swapped his data cassette with a computer game. Special mention to Sarah and James retrieving Bentley's cassette beforehand (which they are awarded for) and Elvis controlling the fire throughout. Even better, Norman gets punished!

!!Series 4

* In "Alien Alert", ''Norman'', of all people, unravels Buck Douglas's fake alien hoax thanks to a crashed "UFO" which he recovered a piece from, and a crashed pizza delivery drone used by Joe since both use the same batteries.
* The episode "Cadet Catastrophe" had a large fire and an exploding gas canister. Norman, (who had had ''nothing'' to do with it, rather it was the squabbling between Mandy and Sarah) does something ''smart'' and guides the two upwind from the fire so they won't be caught in the smoke. This act of heroism ''surprises the fire brigade''.
* "Hot Air" is yet another one for Norman, as he was the one holding the SanityBall for once while Trevor had the IdiotBall. He warns Trevor against opening the bonnet on the bus when the engine overheats, but Trevor smugly ignores him and opens it, which allows enough oxygen to get in and start a fire. Norman had seen a similar situation at the fire station earlier that day when he went to borrow Sam's binoculars, so he knew the end result.
* Elvis, though often TheDitz of the fire team, gets a few big moments, but is on a roll in "The Great Fire of Pontypandy", where he leads Trevor and the other campers out of the forest fire and later pulls a diving save when Sam is almost crushed by a falling branch.
* ''Heroes of the Storm'' is one of the most intense instalments in the series, so naturally has a lot of these all around:
** The fire team rescuing everyone after Trevor's bus nearly topples from a cliff.
** [[TheKlutz Mike Flood]] actually doing a competent job building the new high tech fire station.
** Upon the discovery of the hurricane, Sam heads off to rescue Penny and the kids from the gold mines before they flood. They later return to the favour by lifting him to safety after he falls off an unstable bridge. Sam is sure to thank the kids for saving ''his'' life for once.
** With Sam absent, Elvis is left to lead the new recruits and save the rest of the town. Ellie and Arnold are convinced from earlier that Elvis is incompetent, but he ends up rescuing Arnold after the latter ignores his safety precautions. Realising their mistake, the two loyally follow Elvis the rest of the mission.

* In "Trevor's Boot Sale", when an accident at a rubbish dump results in toxic gas poisoning Trevor, Norman recognises the gas as sodium hypochlorite (thanks to what he learned in chemistry class). This information helps the fire service remove Trevor from the site and stop the leak. Norman's actions earn the praise of Station Officer Steele:
--> "Your knowledge of chemicals saved us precious minutes."
