Being a well-written action/adventure story, there are naturally lots of awesome moments in ''Daughter of the Sun''. Here are a few:
* Just about all of the chapter called "Challenger". [=ThunderClan=] fighting the bear and leading it into the trap was just about as awesome as you can get.
* And then there's chapter twenty-two, "Honor". Special mention goes to the battle between Skypaw and Chasefire, particularly this part:
-->"Wh-what are you?" Chasefire choked, her eyes wide with unconcealed terror. "''What are you?!''"
-->Skypaw stared blankly at the [=WindClan=] warrior for only a moment before she answered in a voice very much unlike her own: "I am a daughter of the sky."
