** It's worth noting that Marvel Entertainment CEO Ike Perlmutter had strong reservations against greenlighting this movie or ''Black Panther'' because of his belief that the only economically viable superhero movies were ones with white male leads. DC's ''Film/{{Wonder Woman|2017}}'' already proved him wrong two years prior, then ''Black Panther'' in 2018, and now Kevin Feige has delivered the knockout blow on this belief.

''Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy'' would have ended a whole lot faster had she been around for that movie... The only one with as good feats as she does is Thor in Infinity War.

* A good way to show how badass a character is: Have them kick ass while ''in bare feet''. Carol does just that on the Skrull ship. Not even letting out an "Ouch" while walking over sharp debris.

* The space battle from the trailers is even more awesome in the film itself. Carol first starts by destroying a barrage of ballistic warheads from the accusers ships by pushing one back to sender a la Superman, causing a chain of explosions that took out the whole barrage. She the proceeds to fly up to space, where she engages the Accuser fleet, while slowly learning to use her powers. She eventually takes out an entire battle cruiser by simply ramming through it before confronting Ronan's ship, which makes him decide to leave.

* Carol is finally able to use all of her powers after being captured by Star Force and being forced to face the Supreme Intelligence. The latter tries to bring her down by making her relive all her memories where she failed and fell while growing up. Carol however simply digs deep and remembers how she got back up after those moments, before symbolically tearing out the inhibitor that they've connected to her. This is reflected in the real world where Carol starts burning out all the restraints placed on her, including said inhibitor, before she finally goes full Binary.

** Bonus points: The soundtrack for said beat down is No Doubt's "Just a Girl."
