* AJPW and NJPW themselves considered Super World Of Sports to be their main adversary for being a corporate owned upstart that was buying up many members of their roster, especially All Japan for pushing Wrestling/GenichiroTenryu, who had retired to become that corporation's spokesman, back into the ring.
