* IndicrectKiss: Youko's apprentice was estatic in episode 6 at the prospect of sharing one with her when she took his instant noodles from him.... only to finish it and thow the cup in the bin, visibly dissapointing him.
* JabbaTableManners: We already know there's something off about Laffinty' MadScientist comrade, and in the light-hearted Episode 7 we let our guard down for a second when we see that he ordered a pudding and icecream platter more beffitting for a teenage girl than a man of his age.... And then for the first time in the show he becomes truly creepy as he mashes the icecream and pudding into a revolting slurry-like porridge and THEN consumes it. Heck, even the Commander is creeped out by this.

* SweetTooth: Laffinty's MadScientis companion.

Muginami\'s not from Earth.

* BlackShirt: . One can't comprehend just why she, a normal Earthling, decides to take a Vox to her own hands, even though she knows the resulting battle will destroy her own planet. [[spoiler:It makes watching Villagilio dissing her all the more cathartic.]]

* Expy: Fighter-mode Vox's design is very close to the FFR-41 Mave from . It's reinforced by the takeoff in Episode 1, which is almost identical to the Mave's first takeoff in Operation 2.

* Fanservice: The...eels...

to:

* Fanservice: The...eels...Normally mild, but episode 7 has a BathtubBonding scene, spontaneous SkinnyDipping, and a bunch of eels doing...things. Probably meant to counterbalance the flashbacks to Muginami's DarkAndTroubledPast in the same episode, but mainly it's just jarring.

Though I agree with the morally ambiguous bit, we can\'t decide for certain if the show will subvert the standard Testosterone Poisoning until the show is finished.

Madoka Kyouno is the sole member of the Jersey Club is always ready to help others out. One day, she is approached by an alien named Lan who asks her to pilot a robotic aircraft to defend mankind against an evil force. Thus begins a surprisingly morally ambiguous story despite having a highly idealistic protagonist and an overall lighthearted tone. Essentially, it replaces all the SUPER-MANLY AWESOME VALOR found in the HumongousMecha genre with HAPPY COLORFUL FLOWERY STUFF, if the opening wasn't enough of a hint.
