Removing the Magnificent Bastard reference for Cartman. Cartman's much too pathetic to be one. Take the Special Olympics episode or the AWESOM-O episode. No Magnificent Bastard would have something like that happen ever happen to them

Hadri: I disagree completely. In earlier seasons he fit the trope quite well. Subsequent seasons of over-reliance on his character have led to a great deal of Flanderization and plots presumably meant to subvert his character, causing people to reinterpret his character as a mere Jerkass. But at one point in the run he fit the profile. I could come up with some examples if necessary.

Seth: its a bit big but i think this quote should go at the top of this page.

It is sometimes hard in times like these to understand God's way... It is then that we must understand that God's sense of humor is much more complex than ours. God does not simply laugh at the "Man Walks Into A Bar" joke. No, God needs subtle irony and farcical twists that seem macabre to you and me. All that we can do is hope is that God got his laugh and this kind of tragedy can be avoided in the future. - Father Maxi

I know it would better fit format to use the OMG they killed kenny line but i think that quote summs up the humour of south park.

Morgan Wick: That's not out of left field, that's clear from the other team's ballpark.

Seth:(Much much later) But now we have it this would be an awesome quote for God Is Evil

Kilyle: Does Wendy also qualify for a Rape The Dog moment? She arranged for Arabs to take her (very nice and completely innocent) substitute teacher and fire her into the sun. All because the teacher happened to spend time with her students, which included Wendy's "boyfriend" Stan.

Kilyle again: Also, don't we have some trope about Jesus that should get a mention? Maybe I missed it, but I don't see any religious tropes on that list, and South Park certainly makes use of them.
