Garden Gnome: There is a one player version of Mahjong, which is playable as a computer game. It is basically matching fully uncovered tiles from a stack of tiles built in a pattern. Should this be put into the article as a variation of the game, or should it be considered a different game entirely?

Poochy.EXE: You're thinking of Mahjong Solitaire. It's generally considered a completely different game.

sdarkpaladin: Quote article: This is called ron in Japanese, but has no special term in Chinese.

Isn't the chinese term hu? As in 胡.

Poochy.EXE: To my understanding, "hu" refers to winning the hand, whether by someone else's discard or by zi mo. The Japanese ron refers specifically to winning from someone else's discard. The Japanese "agari" and "houra" (or "hou" for short) are the equivalent of the Chinese "hu". The article's a little ambiguous there and lacks the term "hu", though; thanks for pointing it out, and I'll fix it.
