I think it's about time someone started the Game/Shanghai article (with "Mahjong Solitaire" as a redirect to it). I have no idea what should go in the article, other than the invention by Activision in 197-, the fact that calling such games "Mahjong" is like referring to FreeCell as "Bridge" (both the former are played with the same tiles, as both the latter are played with the same cards, and there the resemblance ends in both cases), the fact that all such games use the full 144-tile set, and the fact that Kyodai is probably the most popular version (and includes non-Shanghai games such as Rivers).

Hello there! I typically play Japanese Rules, but I also play Hong Kong rules. I can see that most of this article focuses on the Japanese Rules. Can we show other rulesets some love?
