Mr Death: I'm tempted to change the Bowdlerization listing. I mean, yeah, things have changed in the translation (notably less naked people and rape), but I'm not sure it's accurate to say it's "almost to the point of Disneyfication". I mean, even the first season had some pretty brutal stuff (Richard's training with Denna, for example). Thoughts?
Tricksterson: Yeah I got the impression that the bowlderization thing was a product of They Changed It, Now It Sucks! mentality. I would keep the bowlderozation marker but say mild and list what you think are relevant changes and stress that there are just some things you're not going to get past on prime time TV.
Kaywinnet: Are there really a lot of book fans doing a They Changed It, Now It Sucks! because there's less gratuitous rape, as the main page says near the bottom? 'Cause that's kind of disturbing.
Mr Death: I haven't seen it personally. That said, there's a fandom for everything, and there's people who will complain about every change made.
