Hit-and-Run: Removed entire Real Life section, consisting as it did simply of... regular, presumed non-evil people who happen to have white hair. That's not the trope.

Random reader: does anyone know the source of the illustration?

Citizen: Source is in file name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayakashi_(visual_novel)

Freezair For A Limited Time: What the... Why do we have two video game sections on this page? (...says the woman with no intention of fixing it herself because she's too dang lazy.)

Barano: The entry states: "silver works too, but not blonde" - but then why are there blond characters in the list? Char Aznable and Zechs Marquise, Draco and Keiki are all blond. Light blond, yes, but blond nevertheless.

Dr Dedman: Should probably be noted that the origin of this character type is from Moorcock's Elric novels, via Vampire Hunter D (Yoshitaka Amano did the illustrations of the Japanese editions of both), and thus to Final Fantasy. My own take on this bit would include a subtrope "never trust an albino".

Before heading off to bed, I only made an entry for this since it seems another very specific skin-hair combo and IMHO is even more specific than Dark Skinned Redhead. I'm planning on shoving both under the Hair Color listing for ease though.

Ununnilium: Makes sense to me.

Kendrakirai: Tweaked to put Loran into the right series. :)

Seth Am i the only one who is thinking

  • Western Example: Draco and Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter. ?

Looney Toons: Maybe until a few minutes ago, but not any more... I think you might be on the money there.

Susan Davis: Clearly not, because I just added it before reading this discussion. :-)

Barano: So, what are Draco and Spike doing here, again? Especially as there's already a trope for evil blondes.

Kilyle: Why is this article not part of the Anime Character Types list?? (Or does that question prove that I've completed misunderstood the nature of that list or the nature of this article?)

Seth: Nah someone just forgot to put it on that index.

Meems: Since when did Edgeworth have white hair? You could possibly call it grey, but it's a dark grey at best and I assumed it was supposed to look black.

Lyssie: Well, he fits the trope pretty well, and his hair is a weird color - though I'd definitely call it steel grey more than anything. But I don't think it's supposed to look black, either - Maya's hair is, and his is darker than hers.

And despite the note after that entry, the official art doesn't even agree with itself on this. :P Sometimes he's a light brunette, and sometimes his hair is silver. I usually just assume he's supposed to be prematurely grey and leave it at that.

R Taco: Just combined the two Western Animation sections.
Dark Insanity 13: The hell? Whoever added the line below is a moron, because Neji has dark hair. Always has, likely always will. Removing it.
  • How come we've come all this way without mentioning Neji Hyuga from Naruto? The boy has even matching (a little creepy in this troper opinion) eyes to his hair!

Peppermint Sheep: I removed Touma Seguchi (Gravitation), seeing as he's blond in both anime and manga.
