- I wandered in here by accident one day, April 2007 or earlier, and never found my way out; like Wikipedia, every entry seems to have three more links I want to follow. @_@
- Egocentric
- Renamer of tropes
- Suffers Newbies Poorly
- Trope dislikes:
- Titles which use a specific example.
- Using parentheses around explanations of trope examples, instead of a simple hyphen.
- Pages created without going through the YKTTW.
I am the bone of my picture.
Photoshop is my body, and anime is my blood.
I have posted over 200 images.
Unknown to live action.
Nor known to life.
Have withstood boredom to upload many pictures.
Yet, those hands will never hold anything.
So as I pray, "Unlimited Image Works."
Links for myself:
Pages created
Pictures for
- Rina: Whoever wrote the bit in Love Dodecahedron: 'School Rumble. Any further explanation of the tangle of relationships would turn into a plot summary...', I thank thee greatly for a really long fit of giggles.
- Seth: To Citizen for his image contribution to Rape Is Love @
- Pavlov: Kudos to Citizen for the image he added to Image Song. I never wanted to hear someone's mole sing before, but now I have to find the album. That is just hilarious! @
- Jisu: Seconded. I liked the Yuki's Chair one better, but all the fake Haruhi albums are amusing. (Even "Itsuki's STD", prejudiced and shipper-driven as it is.)
- Midonin: Citizen gets a Made Of Win for the "Can you find Waldo?" in The One Guy. Broke out in laughter as soon as I saw it.
- dkellis: Whoever added the Manabi Straight/Megaman picture to Invincible Minor Minion. I can't stop laughing. Mikan deflect! @
- Andrusi: I could watch this all day.
- Earnest: Whoever added the picture for AI Is A Crapshoot, it's simple, elegant, and so true! :D (It even has the good taste to avoid a Take That on Microsoft, jokes of which are still a few months way from reaching Crosses The Line Twice levels with Vista) @
- Octal: Whoever put that picture in An Aesop. @
- Jisu: Citizen, for the addition of the Nice Boat to Cool Boat.
- Earnest: No tidbit is too small to be Made of Win, this one goes to Citizen for adding "Immortal Wombats" to the following example from Reasonable Authority Figure.
Dumbledore of Harry Potter fame is perhaps too easy going when it comes to Harry, but considering the trouble he tends to attract, it pays to listen when Harry says basilisks/death eaters/trolls/immortal wombats are mucking about.
- Madacaek: I don't think it's been nominated yet, but Citizen, for this
◊ monstrosity. It's wrong on so very many levels.
- Lumbargo: Whoever added the image of Kyon's Mole's Image Song is made of gold and win. @
- Citizen: Haha, and Image Song is my first to get two separate wins. Now I have to decide if this counts as a new one on my list or not. =P
- Agent CH: Citizen for the pic in You Kill It You Bought It. It may be the fourth Death Note Christmas joke comic thing I've seen this year, but damned if it isn't the funniest. @
- Sikon: Citizen for the Firefox-ko picture in Petting Zoo People. @
- Kizor: Though the author appears to be lost to time or the Crash, this excerpt from the The Wheel Of Time book series' article:
Enemy Within - Encroaching madness caused by the taint of saidin, and the VOICES in MY HEAD that will NOT SHUT UP!!!! WHY WILL THE DEAD NOT BE SILENT?!
- Vampire Buddha: I'd like to nominate whoever put that picture on The Ace. I suspect it was Ununilium, but I'm not sure. @
- Citizen: Check the filename. Anyway, thanks. =P
- Ununnilium: You know, absolutely no one would think to check the filename. ^,^ But there's another obvious clue: I'm so obsessed that I'd make sure it was carefully balanced for Standard before actually putting up a fake card. ``v
- Meta4: Citizen, for Madness.
- Bob: Madness?
- Earnest: It's two miles east of Sparta, right after the turnpike. Can't miss it.
- Anomaly: I don't know who did it, but the punning last sentence of the Fate/Stay Night example on Stay In The Kitchen is just plain Made Of Win. "Towards the end, he finally gets it through his head that Saber can fight by his side and not just Fate/Stay In The Kitchen."
- Willy Four Eyes: Agreed. Wasn't that going to be the original name of the trope?
- Citizen: Yeah; that was my YKTTW. At least I put it somewhere. =) Original credit for that line goes to the Velox comics.
- Katsuhagi: Whoever put the image up in Villainous Crossdresser. I nearly spewed soda out of my nose. @
- Willy Four Eyes: Agreed! Now, would someone please tell me who that dude is supposed to be? Nobody's answered my question in the discussion page yet, and I wanna know. :(
- Katsuhagi: That's Reito Kanzaki from Mai-Hime and Mai-Otome, and no, that never happens in the series itself.
- fleb: I don't know if you noticed this part or not, but the part that made me laugh was the image name. It's like it's descending into hysterical madness as you read the whole URL. cit_mai_otome_-_evil_crossdresser_-_that_is_the_face_of_PURE_EVIL_DONT_LET_THE_LOLI_FOOL_YOU.jpg
- alphamone: whoever named this file
◊ wins a whole lot
- Gemmifer: The picture for Cool And Unusual Punishment - it's funny, fits the trope and adds just that little dash of Nightmare Fuel. @
- Agent CH: Whoever added that pic to New Media Are Evil. It cracks me up every time I see it. @
- Katsuhagi: Citizen for making the Kara No Kyoukai article. I was actually planning to do that myself, but then I saw it and was pleasantly surprised!
- Nerdorama: Citizen made me laugh out loud at work with a subtle Time Travel joke on The Unwanted Harem page
- Plus, I wrote the original example, and it's good to be told I wasn't just reaching on that one.
- Drascin: I'd like to give one Made Of Win to whoever put that picture in Death Of A Thousand Cuts. I laughed for a good minute at that. @
- Unknown Troper: Author Existence Failure: Best title ever. It explains the purpose of the article perfectly, is succinct, and it's funny. Kudos to whoever thought of it.
- That Other 1 Dude: The image for Flame War. Bonus points for using a frame where it looks like he's flipping someone off. @
- Katsuhagi: To Citizen for the picture
◊ on Hyperspace Ears. Read the file name for the full effect, helps to be familiar with Tsukihime and the memes surrounding it.
- Gecko: Whoever added the picture for the anime examples. I can't look at it without cracking up. @
- (After Hulkspeak was rewritten to be self-demonstrating)
- Looney Toons: (checks page history) Wow, he did, didn't he? That's not just chutzpah, that's tacky. Oh, and a MOW point to Citizen for putting it back — my first reaction to Sean's change was somewhat south of "Meh". Then again, I wrote the original text of the entry, so I have some personal interest in it.
- fleb: Citizen, for Cut-Listing Rule Thirty Six before I did. There Can Be Only One Internet Rule.
- Shay Guy: Citizen wins again for this
◊ unnecessarily long filename.
- Medinoc: Wow, seconded.
- Malchus: Huh, 197 characters. Not including the ".jpg" part.
- SpiriTsunami: Probably has already been done, but the page image on Failure Is The Only Option. Awesome. @
- Rissa: Citizen. Image. Patriotic Fervor. (Also, filename.) @
- Dragon Quest Z: Win to Citizen for the Sugar Wiki picture @
- Cryptic Mirror: A MOW to whoever came up with the pothole in the picture of the Bump page. Well done.
- Medinoc: To Citizen, for the picture name in the Homosexual Reproduction page. @
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cit_touhou_-_sakuya_x_meiling_-_remember_to_always_use_protection_when_fan_wanking.jpg
- Shay Guy: He does have a knack for those, doesn't he?
- Enlong: One to whoever took note the large number of alternate titles for the page, and added This Is For Redirects Bitch as the newest one. Lampshade Hanging in the form of an alternate titles. I love it!
- thatother1dude: The opening quote for Nerf Arm.
Quote:
- Dude 4chan lingo sucks. We don't ask for iambic pentameter but using words would be a start. (Seth)
- Citizen. Audacity. Always audacity. "Too large" is a call for the small. (Fast Eddie)
- The images you have some how manage to be funny and creepy at the same time. I never want to look through your computer :D (Seth)
- Yahtzee, is that you, you bilious, bloviating bag of batshit? Would it kill you to give another site a reach-around link once in awhile? It turns out one or two members of your audience can actually read. It might give them something to do while you are out scoring meth.
There. That should make him feel welcome. (Fast Eddie)
- It's a magazine. You know, dead trees? You don't need a computer to read it? The web doesn't handle hyperlinks to paper well. (Looney Toons)
