Prior to the rename from Television Tie In Novels to Tie-In Novel
Adonic Meki: What does varying quality of tie-in novels have to do with considering them "authorized fanfic"? Sure, fanfic varies in quality, too, but a tie-in novel definitely doesn't have to be a fanfic to begin with.Seth: It was my opinion most tie in novels were only authorised to make some quick cash, the idea that they weren't cannon meant the producers could make money of other peoples work without being blamed for it's poor quality.
