Looney Toons: How does this differ from Puppy-Dog Eyes, other than in the motive?
Darksasami: Quivering Eyes is much more subtle. For one thing, the eyes aren't bigger than usual. They can be combined, but they are very different effects. If I had the skill, I'd make an animated gif to include as an explanation...
Tabby: I know I've seen examples of this dating back to at least the mid-80s. It was in a fairy tale series I watched all the time as a child ,and it weirded me the Hell out.
