Not-So-Badass Longcoat: Shitcan it or at least rename to "Promoted to Playable" (or something like that) and lump together with Demoted To Beginner (which, TBH, should be shitcanned as well).

Madrugada: I don't see why we need two tropes one for "The game where a previously unplayable character becomes playable" and one for "the game where a character that will later be made playable is unplayable." I don't really see a need for either one, but at the very least, these should be merged. Better would be to cut them and bounce them back to YKTTW.
