Drop Dead Gorgias: Is it worth noting the common joke where an insensitive (or overly sensitive) character sees an obese woman, and automatically assumes she's pregnant? I've seen this on Malcolm In The Middle, and a few movies.

Gus: It is certainly worth noting. also: I tried to take some of the algebra out of the entry.

Kilyle: Would that be truth in television? 'Cuz in college I did that for my computer instructor. Only it was after a couple quarters, and for some reason I thought she was bigger than normal, and I asked her about it one day when I ran across her in the bathroom. (She took it well.)

Ellen Hayes: due to writing and being bad with random names, I was carrying a baby name book for a short while... and got asked twice in one day. By coworkers. I think the book upped the occurrence about 100x. After this, I hid the book better...

Adam850: Removed " SPOILERIn a very funny Mad about You, Paul mistakes a man for a pregnant woman." as it doesn't fit in with the other examples. Plus it's coded wrong.

Antigone2: Would cases when the woman thinks she's pregnant go here as well? Or do we need a new trope for that? I'm specifically thinking of Mary I (Tudor) of England, who was convinced on two separate occasions that her husband Philip had gotten her pregnant. (She might have been preggers once, but most historians think she never was.)
