Nobodymuch: No, the character in Kroeger's Hero is not a superhero, or any kind of hero. He's proposing that he and the person he loves deal with the troubles of the place where they are, by getting on a plane and getting the heck out of Dodge rather than praying for divine intervention or hoping for a hero.
