Working Title: Suggestive Eating: From YKTTWDarktalon: Moving this to Double Entendre:
- Nando's, a South African chicken resturant franchise that has a penchant for putting out contriversial ads, covered this recently by airing a commercial for a fake yet somewhat similar resturant, only to add a disclaimar at the end that shows the logos of the resturants, a rooster in both cases, side by side, so nando's could argue that their cock was bigger than theirs.
ThatAnimeOtaku: "Whoever added not to be confused with Blessed with Suck" to this page is a freaking genius. ^_^
Sceboal That was me, and thanks.
Namta: Am I the only one who thought that the Hyatt image worked better as a visual aide?
fleb: Let's try it again. Last time it only got replaced because of a super-blurry crappy The Backyardigans pic.
Trouser Wearing Barbarian: The "subjective" tag is really out-of-place here.
fleb: It's that damned "Fetish Fuel" category. Really shouldn't list objective tropes under the Fuel pages.
Sharm Hedgehog: I cut this out:
- "* Believe it or not: during the "Samurai Pie" episode of The Backyardigans, Austin licked a spoon in Tyrone's order ("Now give the spoon a lick") after mixing pie mix with it. For some it might be normal, but for this troper... wow."
High Five: The ads here aren't about ice cream. They're about pet food. ...ew.
fleb: Hey, why's Silver Monkey Blue Rose 189.71.12.244 deleting the Hyatt pic repeatedly?
Kalle: trimming ad-related natter:
- Isn't it just fascinating how all the ads here are for ice cream?
- This troper got ads for tissue paper, bleach, and lotion.
- This troper is getting...nothing? Wait, where'd the ads go? Okay, refreshing got it back...and it's for PayPal. So, yeah...
- Left sidebar - ice cream. Bottom panel - steak... Top banner - ...cute kids?
- All three of my ads are for "The Cute Kid of the Year Contest." I...don't want to know.
- This Troper just gets debt adverts. How dull.....
- And today it's diet ads. Topical, but depressing.
- Designer bags and cheap printers. How decidedly un-phallic.
- No ads for This Troper. Shutting off Ad Block (for TV Tropes at least) in 3... 2... 1...
- That's better. Ice cream ads and... something for some sort of musicians' school?
- Today it's "Cute Kids" and... Dogs of the Seas? Um...
- Ice Cream... and Oxi Clean? Huh.
