Does the behaviour of the character Lewis Bodine in Titanic count as this or another one of the crying tropes? He cries in sympathy for Rose after hearing her story, to make up for his callous behaviour earlier in the film ("She's a goddamn liar! .. Like that Russian babe Anesthesia").
