Zephid: No, she's definitely a prostitute. Marmeladov says so near the beginning.
Also, I'm going to go ahead and edit the article to say this is his most famous novel, since I think most people have heard about Crime And Punishment more than The Brothers Karamazov.
Zephid: I don't think this is a Bittersweet Ending, but more of a Earn Your Happy Ending. The epilogue is decidedly upbeat for Raskolnikov's future.
