Epileptic Trees time! This Troper is convinced that the "nail" (or at least part of it) is that Hiashi is really Hizashi, who took his brother's place as clan leader instead of as sacrifice to Kumo, which explains why he is hateful to Hinata, less so to Neji, and why Hanabi is even more of a bitch to Hinata than usual given the timing of her birth and the failed kidnapping.
- Unclouded TJ: While that would make sense it depends on whether he has the cadge bird seal or not. Seeing as his forehead hasn't been described it any detail (such as wearing a bandanna or other such cover) to give us some foreshadowing, I'd think it's not going to happen unless he found a way to remove it without anyone noticing. I'm still under the impression the nail has something to do with Hinata's mother due to Hinata mentioning that Hanabi looks like her mother.
- Truteal: It's very believable, but for 2 things 1. Hiashi is more abusive and 2. Naruto got over Sakura a little too fast for my liking, a lesser fic would have Naruto and Hinata as lovebirds by now and finally if Naru-Hina becomes canon officially it would be really interesting to see Naru-Saku become canon in this fanfic.
