Dinru: Due to the deletion of the 'main' Eversion page, I would like to use this page to propose an idea: Trading the roles of the Darth Wiki and Sugar Wiki Eversion pages as being the 'spoiler page' and 'sugar-coated page'. Just to add some Mood Dissonance, and to make the 'spoiler page' that much creepier.
This troper had a lot of trouble sleeping the night he tried and watched the game (as well as the following night). He had to blast some eurobeat in his room just so he could have something else to dream about as he dozed off to sleep.
Insanity Prelude: I didn't find it all that scary, but then again, I found the game via this page... and I still jumped and went "What the fuck was that?!" upon encountering the first red hand claw thing. Also, the X-6 music is creepy as hell.
- Ray Ayanami: The X-6 music would make a good battle theme for a creepy Mother 3 enemy—distorted, corrupted, and has an inconsistent tempo that would make comboing a pain in the ass. It's the X-8 music combined with the purple-and-black color scheme that brings unpleasant effects to my spine.
- Minishear: I have an alternate story interpretation. The main character is a member of the darkness from the start, only he has been cursed to be in his 'flower' form. Because of this, he knows that the Princess is what she truly is. The enemies are the good guys, tasked to take you down. As you everse farther in your own dimension, the forms of the enemies are shifted, their fear of your power getting to them. In World X-4, you have paralyzed them with fear, however, in world X-5, the darkness has corrupted them so that they either have the ability to discard their fear and keep going after you, or the darkness has completely corrupted them, and they continue to go after you because they do not recognize you, considering your cursed form (This is also the case for the hands and the darkness/blood that chases you twice through the game). The gems are magic, and you use them in the end of the game to reveal yourself to the princess. On the note of the princess, she takes her form to trick unsuspecting adventurers, so that she can devour them. When you get there, if you took the first exit, you try to convince her about who you are, she considers that if you're not lying, you cannot get out of your cursed form, so it is best just to eat you. If you break free from the curse, you live happily ever after. Post your takeover of the world. (Of course, this assumes the original story is you go to save the princess, decide "Oh what the hell", then join her. Having always been the good guy, and the enemies are the bad guys).
Insanity Prelude: You know, I don't think the alternate "READY" screens are Anti Poop-Socking. More of another layer of creepy Interface Screw.
Makoryumatic: The game has used both "EVERSE" and "EVERT" in different versions. The current one uses "EVERT." Are these articles going to use "EVERSE" exclusively? (This may sound like overthinking the issue but this could conceivably start an edit war.)
Astra Kiseki: I'd like to mention I really did consider the Good Ending a Crowning Moment Of Heartwarming. Come on! It's so damn cute. They have each other! (I also assume that he WAS a monster in the first place, and trying to prove his love by doing an epic feat of collection.)
Tsunde Ray: So I beat the new World 8 and...SERIOUSLY?

Peteman: Is that third ending a photoshop, if not how do you get it?
Solandra: Yeah, the third ending is (unfortunately) a photoshopped image. IIRC, it was made by a person over on Deviant Art after a deceptively fluffy image of the flower and the princess together set off a thread on how the ending would have looked like in World 4. Presumably, it takes them a long time to reach each other.
Peteman: What do you do to edit main.rb?
GG Crono: Somebody should really upload an image of the "dark" title screen from the new version of the game. The one that says "evert". ...but then again, I'm picky.
tropette: In the advancing wall of blood level, am I the only one who thinks the shooting fire things look like evil sperm?
- Narvi: You think arms look like sperm? You're weird.
- tropette: No, hear me out. They're hands. Which look vaguely circular. Attached to a squiggly line in the middle. They move in the air like they're swimming.

No One Special: I think whoever edited the current Eversion page deserves a Made of Win spot.
Somfin: Just for fun, I think that there should be a Main wiki page for this as well- that way, there's the Eversion-style things getting steadily worse, insead of flipping straight from happy to sad and back again.
