I've noticed on both the Wii U and Switch ports that the BGM for Final Dreadnaught 3 will fade out, be silent for a few seconds, and then start playing again instead of being a seamless loop.

1) Can anyone tell me if this happens in the PC and/or PS4 versions? 2) Would this count as a Special Effects Failure ?

1) I'm pretty sure it happens for all versions of the game.

2) I wouldn't consider it that, no.

Is there really a big Fandom Rivalry between this game and Sonic?

"* Fandom Rivalry: Fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog series tend not to think too highly of this game or its fans. This is due to some Freedom Planet players taking potshots at Sonic games, as well as a tinge of envy due to the critical acclaim Freedom Planet received. Another cause of resentment is the fact that Freedom Planet took a good deal of attention away from the Sonic franchise. Particularly angry are the younger fans and non-gaming fans of Sonic, which can border on Berserk Button among some—as Freedom Planet lacks the Mascot with Attitude factor that drew them to Sonic in the first place, and admittedly, is a lot girlier than Sonic, they see it as Sonic's Spiritual Antithesis. Not helping this is some fans using this game as a perfect opportunity to take deliberate pot shots at the Sonic franchise."

I've heard a lot of Sonic fans liking the game, especially fans of the SatAM cartoon or Archie comics, for its similarities to those works.

Yeah, I have no idea what this bullet is talking about. Most Sonic fans I know of are fans of FP as well.

So, would Milla Basset count as a Base Breaker? The way I see it, you'd either like her for being cute and a woobie, or you'd hate her for her voice and her Mary Sue-like qualities. Then there's the fact that Lilac nearly screwed over the universe for her sake, which could result in a Broken Base.

Honestly, if we're going to discuss this, then I'd rather bring up how you've repeatedly inserted in entries about that last point you're attempting to raise - how Lilac saving Milla was apparently a What An Idiot moment, even after it's been removed several times over by multiple tropers.

Why do you insist on edit warring over this point? You do understand how the Sadistic Choice, Hostage for MacGuffin and Always Save the Girl tropes work, right? You generally don't make logical decisions under high-stress situations like those, not to mention how out-of-character it'd be for a character who's nicknamed "Ms. Heropants" to coldly leave a character she's clearly gotten attached to throughout the course of the plot to die at the hands of a supervillain.

Anyway no, I don't consider Milla a Base Breaker, least of all for that last point.

OK. I'll drop the whole thing. I still hate the character.
