Removed this due to the trope page for Unpleasable Fanbase saying it's not supposed to be on a work page, YMMV or otherwise, but for those who still want to see it...
- Unpleasable Fanbase: Even when Square fulfills the request of a retro-style Final Fantasy, people still find ways to complain about it. The game is currently being rated one star not because of its quality, but because people refuse to pay $29 for the game, even though it has a reasonable 50+ hours of gameplay. They're also miffed at the fact that the game is episodic, to deter them from simply stealing it.
- Oh yeah, and the game apparently has "RPG Maker Graphics" despite they're basically just hi-res tile maps/modified sprites from Final Fantasy IV and V.
Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on one of the pages linked here underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:
